Something to get off my chest

You know, I've played both destiny one and two... Always been a solo Titan against the world with my own army of one, in a clan of my making that was empty... Out of both games I've never ever done a raid with another person while being a preorder owner beginning to end... I've got hella veteran status, and experience... It's just... No one wants to accept someone with no mic, and just be my friend in general... I've sent random friend request, spoke to people to trying to be friendly... And nothing..... I don't know if it's because I'm a female gamer and "If she breathes she's a thot." Or....... I honestly don't know, and I'm not one to sell out and join a overrated clan that looked to be made by a 10 year old. "The butter biscuit slammers." Childish.... But that's not the main point, could someone please take me under their wing and help me experience what a raid is like? I'm very intuitive and fast on keyboard text chat... And if I really have to, I'll use discord on my phone... Please someone help me, I'm losing out on the main experience of the game with having no one to play with...
pathetically enough at the end of the story when ikora and the gang were saying goodbyes, thinking they were going to die... I cried, not only for the sentimental part but because I don't have a fireteam of my own... And just like the story I was conquering it alone.
• Damn never did vault of glass? You missed out. Although if you didnt have ghorn people wouldnt let you in anyway. Raids got more inclusive after taken king dropped. Easy to find and make a team now. Mic is pretty much required due to the amount of communication needed, especially on the leviathan

  • You have two options. 1. Just get a mic. 2. Do your research, analyze YouTube videos, and learn the raid SO well that you know the mechanics inside and out like the back of your hand, then find a raid team who understands this and is competent enough that you can all operate just fine.

    • I'll be honest... not having a mic is really hard :( The raid is very complex and communication is absolutely key. Not having a mic is ridiculously hard if you don't already know what you're doing.
