So now throttling is progression? Are you ducking kidding me? There isn’t any power in this system, it’s an uphill treadmill that evens out at the top. Would be fine if even the lowliest Dreg wasn’t right there next to you the entire freaking time. So that means it isn’t power. Just a leveling system to unlock gear and activities. Not influence gameplay. Lovely. Why exactly? What genius thought that in a game with something called a power level that actual power wasn’t important??? Bad enough you messed up with the release. This “update” is a -blam!-ing throttle. Along the way everyone keeps up with you and reaches the same peak. So what power exactly am I gaining? A empty number. A useless numeral that does nothing but gate content and shamefully expose how much time I spend not gaining power but just hamster wheeling a number. That’s fluff. Power meant something in D1, even when it wasn’t called Light. Now it’s just another leveling mechanic, not a power mechanic. What an utter load of garbage.
