[b]Extended Version (recommended):[/b] Some of you may be aware of the Destiny 1 Day suggestion that I made in a previous post (the link to it is posted below). If you don't have time to read through it, here's the brief summary: I think it would be great to designate a day as Destiny 1 Day, where there would be a temporary mass exodus of players back to D1 in order to create a sense of nostalgia and community oneness. 16 hours since writing the original post, it has become apparent that a fair amount of people are in favor of such an event (321 out of 439 voters). It has also become apparent that most people seem to be in favor of a 3-day Destiny event instead of just a single day (23 out of 44 voters). As a result of the support for this idea, I am unofficially setting the weekend of Friday, June 8 through Sunday, June 10 as the target weekend for this D1 event (this is an extremely flexible date given that this idea is less than one day in the making). In order for this to be successful, we need to get as many people in the community involved as possible. I have contacted various content creators asking for their assistance in this endeavor, but I am also asking you, fellow guardians, to help spread the word. Once the original post gets upwards of 400 approval votes, I will begin creating a website dedicated to the organization of this event. I have already received a couple offers for organization help, and if any of you want to take up similar leadership roles, feel free to message me. I think this has the potential to help bring this community together while also being a very fun weekend for us all.
