Welcome to OAFL... Today we experience a fight like no other. Our fighters face off against a horde of menacing robots, created by our wonderful scientists at OAFL Labs. Will they succeed in putting down the horde? Or will they fall to the power of the horde? •••Fighters••• deatheater200 Animal: Crow Weapons: Bony dual blades with ebony designs, a great sword with blood-red runes that slows down enemies that are hit and heals if blood is drawn. Appearance: Tall with black armor, polished beakish helmet, boots with four claws at the feet, gauntlets with a black feather down the side RunnerGunnner- Animal: Wolf Weapons: Lightning-infused Xiphos blade and rifle with bayonet (sort of like Monte Carlo), hidden blades (Assassin’s Creed). Appearance: Gray and black wolf pelts and fur, with a helm made from a wolf’s face. Fang-like teeth, and yellow eyes that observe every move. OLDSCRATCH4 Animal: Allosaurus Weapons: R.H.Y.N.O 2 (a weapon that fires nothing but missiles and eats ammo like crazy), Invective ( shotgun), Atom’s Super Sledge (a sledge hammer with green radioactive on it). Appearance: Fully clad in kinetic reactive armor which emits a blood-red color when damaged. It reflects 75% of damage to the source, and at 10% health, it emits a strange aroma and a crimson glow. Texas Jedi Animal: Badger Weapons: Ghostfire lightsaber that can transform into a light wip in a blink of an eye, an MF Hyperbreeder Alpha sidearm (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/2/2c/MF_Hyperbreeder_Alpha.png/revision/latest?cb=20110930013733), and a T-21 light repeating blaster as a heavy weapon (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsofthecaribbean/images/e/e7/BlasTechT-21LRBlaster1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20121023075938). Appearance: Fireproofed black and silver Fallout: New Vegas’s riot gear, glowing red cybernetic eye that tracks infrared rays, X-rays, and the visual spectrum, which can be used to scan people and their abilities. Cutting laser, near-indestructible cybernetic body from the jaw down that enhances physical ability and allows for drainage of energy from nearby sources. Built in jet-pack, strong high frequency chainsaws, and shoulder-mounted plasma cannons. Cloak device, built in wrist computer (a better pip boy), and shock absorbers in the legs. ••• ••• ••• The sun is setting in the sky, giving off blood-red haze across the horizon. A blue dome starts lighting up, and spotlights fill the sky as night makes its debut. Inside the dome are dozens of bleachers, surrounding the perimeter of the dome, all filled with cheering people. The bleachers are high up in the arena, and they look down on a small city below them, littered with rundown buildings. A huge building in the center gleams with a metallic sparkle. Suddenly, the four contestants come out of the building, onto the rooftop, waving to their audience above them. The crowd goes wild, but their cheers are hushed up by the voice over the speakers. “Round one...” The voice radiates across the battlefield, and suddenly, the gates surrounding the arena open. Floods of robots fly, hover, and march into the arena. They come from three different gates on the outskirts of the city, all heading for the central building. Back on the central rooftop, RunnerGunner and Texas Jedi nod at each other, and they both jump to the second level, where they take refuge in a little platform that stretches out of the main building. RunnerGunner readies his rifle, and Texas Jedi takes out his blaster. Meanwhile, as the hordes get closer, Deatheater and OLDSCRATCH jump down towards the street, landing with a silent thud. The robot hordes have passed the surrounding buildings, and have reached the central clearing. Suddenly, Deatheater finds himself slashing at the robots with his dual blades, leaving nothing behind but sparks and the scent of blood. OLDSCRATCH takes out his rhyno, and kneels on the ground. He unloads a barrage of missiles, and most of the robots in front of him are now piles of scrap metal. RunnerGunner is frantically shooting down drones, each shot exploding into lightning and sparks. The drones fire back, and Runner takes cover behind a wall. Texas Jedi suddenly unloads a rain of lasers. The drones fall like insects, crashing to the ground. The two shoot the remaining robot hordes on the ground, until a sniper shot is heard. Runner, Jedi, Deatheater, and OLDSCRATCH look up at an abandoned building to see a red crimson glow. A sleek robotic figure stands on top of the structure, and it unloads another shot, hitting Jedi in his cybernetic eye, shutting it down. Runner quickly tries shooting the sniper down, while Deatheater and OLDSCRATCH eat through the endless hordes of robots, all while trying to avoid sniper shots. Runner successfully shoots down the sniper with a charged shot from his rifle. As the sniper falls from the building, Texas Jedi emerges back out onto the second floor, and shoots with his sidearm. The hordes of robots grow smaller and smaller, until only a few drones are left. OLDSCRATCH destroys them with a barrage of missiles from his rhyno, but it costs him his ammo. He finds that he has no more ammo, and he pulls out his sledgehammer. The speaker vibrates again with a voice... “Round 2...” The gates open again.....but nothing comes out. Texas Jedi drains the power of a nearby electrical box to repair his eye temporarily. He sees heat signatures, flooding into the streets. He alerts the others, but suddenly he is pushed down onto the street by an unknown force. He looks up to see Runner struggling with an unseen force on the second floor platform. Jedi unloads a shot, and suddenly Runner relaxes, and a metallic thud is heard from street level, as a body falls from the second floor, steaming with heat from the blast. The body on the street uncloaks, revealing to be a robot with a sword in each arm. Runner seems to be sliced on the arm, but he continues firing into the streets. The robots have uncloaked, and they rush at the fighters. Deatheater locks into battle with one of them, trying to parry their attacks, but eventually they bunch up on him, and he finds himself in a whirlwind of slashes and blades. OLDSCRATCH pummels the robots in front of him, trying to reach Deatheater. Texas Jedi is right behind OLDSCRATCH, pulling out his lightsaber, and slicing at the robots. Deatheater pulls out his great sword, and he attacks the robots, hoping for a healing effect...but nothing happens. He realizes that robots don’t have blood. He tries slicing a few of them in half, but eventually the robots pile on him. OLDSCRATCH quickly unloads his shotgun into the pile of robots, and as he clears them off, he finds Deatheater unconscious on the ground. A medic drone carries Deatheater away. OLDSCRATCH turns around to see Texas Jedi and RunnerGunner back up on the second floor, unloading shots into the horde. The hordes of sword robots start thinning...and suddenly the chaos has ended. Runner wipes his face with a wolf pelt, and Texas Jedi loads another magazine into his sidearm. But then...BOOM! Explosions fill the building, and it slowly collapses. Runner is quick to jump off and land onto the street with a hard thud. But Texas Jedi tries jumping off with his jet pack, and his foot is caught on a wire. He tries slicing it with his laser, but then he is met with falling debris. The building collapses, faster now, carrying Texas Jedi with it, who is frantically swinging his laser around. As the debris settles, a medic drone comes to retrieve Texas Jedi, who is on top of the rubble, unconscious. Runner hears more explosions, and turns to OLDSCRATCH, who is staring at some more robots, who are armed with mortars and guns. The robots aim at the two and open fire. They both dash for cover as shots fly past them, piercing them both. They land behind a broken wall, and Runner unloads another shock-filled magazine. Some robots collapse, giving the two some breathing space. Another explosion is heard, and OLDSCRATCH is hit by it. He staggers back, with his armor damaged, but OLDSCRATCH runs out of the cover of the broken wall and suddenly charges into the robots, going faster with each step, until he drives his sledge hammer into the ground and unleashes a projectile of green radioactive material as he swings it. The projectile hits the robots, and the robots slowly melt away, and the streets are clear once again. The voice on the speaker speaks again, with a grim tone. “Round 3...You face a worthy opponent...” We’ll be back after the break: *An Advertisement plays, with Saitonia emerging out of the darkness* “Need a weapon?
