Alright it's been a while since I posted one of these. I noticed there was a lot of salt going around on the forums so I took a vacation to off topic. It was a nice stay. The people were nice as long as I kept my mouth shut about destiny. In fact I bought some porch day items from the gift shop and changed my name temporarily. Anyway let's get started... Main point of DLC: Playable Fallen. Storyline: This is a small follow up to my Really Big DLC idea. In this story line you switch of between roles playing your guardian one mission and playing as a vandal the next. The vandal is one of the few remaining members of the silent fang. He joined house of dusk for his survival but later joined house of betrayed because he did not agree with the use of Siva. He now resides at the tower trying to help as much as possible but when he is sent on a suicide mission lead by your guardian he vows vengeance for his fallen brothers. And that is where this DLC starts off. Ikora: Zavala we found a major Red Legion stronghold near the EDZ. (The choices you made last DLC come into play.) Zavala: Alright let's plan and attack. Ikora, I want you to try to tap into their comms. I will sent some scouts to see what we're up against. Cayde... Zavala looks at Variks who just nods his head. Variks: I understand, it's ok, yes. Zavala: Sorry I just... get some of your fallen ready. We will send them in with the guardian. Variks: Right away. You are now playing as a vandal sitting inside a skiff flying towards the base. The guardian is next to you. Your ghost is giving info on the mission. The skiff stops and you are dropped out. It is total war down there, gun fire in all directions and it's pitch black in the night sky. The guardian runs ahead leaving you and the rest of the fallen behind. Mission name: Out numbered and out gunned. You and the fallen try to gain more ground but it's useless fallen all around you are dying. And the cabal just keep coming. Eventually a drop pod lands in the middle of the group splitting you up. A colossus comes out and mows down the fallen. And fires rockets at you. The rockets hit and the screen goes black. After a couple moments you wake up. It's early morning. It quiet. You stand up and immediately feel sick to your stomach. All around you there are bodies of cabal and fallen alike. Somber music plays. You slowly start to walk through the war zone stumbling around trying to gain your sense of direction. Two shanks can be seen above the tree line. You start to walk over there. Two dregs and a vandal become uncloaked. The fallen speak in their own language so subtitles will be placed during the dialogue. Vandal: Wait that's one of ours! Hold you fire. He's wounded get him to the camp. You collapse as the fallen rush to help you. Your vision fades. You rewake sitting next to a servitor giving you ether. Vandal: Easy there, you've be through a lot. You: I'm fine. How many of us made it? Vandal: 23 Counting you. You: I don't understand, we had the advantage. Vandal: 250 of us were sent in with the guardian. Against a base of about 2,500 cabal. The guardian had plans of their own. They ran ahead leaving us behind. We were slaughtered... Suddenly 3 cabal drop ships fly overhead and set down north of you. Vandal: Come on.
