Come on already bungie

im sick of people not taking damage in PVPit is so frustrating. you pump out so many goddamn shots get the damage numbers and and no damage has actually been delt. please do something about this shit it is bullshit and needs to stop. the lag is sooooooooooooooooo -blam!-ing annoying. all it ever comes down to is who has the worst internet and awards them because of it. i have not had this bad lag ever in destiny 2, something is wrong and you need to fix your parameters. i can understand being beat by someone better but this is ridiculious. 1. shot through walls that i havent even peaked so the other guy cannot have seen me first 2. damage numbers say one thing and health bars tell another 3. generall teleporting (i had a warlock pick up heavy right infront of me and just disappear and cant see him at all.) i also have come across someone who i shot off the map with a tractor cannon to have him appear behind me and i didnt even get the kill. this bullshit happens nearly every game some more bearable than others but still -blam!-ing annoying. how can i have fun with this bulshit. you guys need to stop blaming others for this by saying all you have to do is follow the networking guide. i have always had an open network running at least a 50mbps up/down + and should not be placed up against people who cant/ dont have a stable connection.

  • Once you load into a game, the connection is peer to peer. Most likely their or your connection is dodgy. Report and move on. Also, check your connection. You can have the best internet in the world but a worn cable or port can make all the difference.

    • As with most connection based problems there is only so much Bungie is able to do. for the most part only the person had control over their own connection if this is something that’s consistently happening then it is more than likely on your end and I will list things you can do to fix this issue • make sure at the very least you have a viable steady internet connection and check your signal latency •reset your system cache •make sure your routers firmware is updated and hard reset it for at least 10 seconds •try running a wired connection. A wired connection can usually troubleshoot most connection issues effectively •don’t take up to much bandwidth with other devices if possible some people have decent internet but have multiple devices connected to it and using it constantly, if your downloading something or streaming something on another device it can severely hinder the connection quality of the one your trying to game on. Good luck, hope this helps

      • If you see someone lagging just use the in game report system to inform Bungie who then can investigate and if needed take action (and yes Bungie does restrict players for bad internet). HOWEVER If most players are lagging match after match then the problem is on your end and you need to look into your signal latency not your up/down speed.
