It is happening to me as well, PC platform with wired connection, same problem. But it started yesterday and not because of DLC installation(already had it), I don't know the reason.

Waiting for someone from Bungie with an answer. I'm sad that this is a wide problem. I don't think that it's our internet connection's problem. I' çm reinstalling the game and the patches right now (though I hardly think ot will solve anything).
