New visual effects for solo Rat king players and buff?
Hello everyone,
Normally I don’t post something but I would like to share some of my thoughts on my favorite gun in the game...the rat king.
I play 90% of the time PVE solo in this game,weird I know but that’s how I play this game...I just like this gun and i use this gun in patrol,heroic strikes/adventures,nightfalls and even in some parts on the raids......
and that’s why I post this.
I understand the concept of the gun and all,it’s a “team gun” and it is a fantastic concept
But as a solo player I have only saw once the glowing effect on the gun in the launch week of the game in a strike,and is sad that people at bungie created this awesome gun but only 1% of the player base have actually saw the visuals on the gun.
So I thought maybe if it isn’t to late for the may update add the glowing part of the gun under some conditions to players.
Maybe after a melee kill the gun can have a buff (rampage or full auto) and during that short time the gun glows and shows the visual effects...I don’t know something to show the glowing effect to players wouldn’t be nice.
I don’t have much hope that someone will respond to this but thanks anyway for reading this....have a nice day guardians

Well come the 8th it will be full auto and a buff for the gun to get better stats with one or two more people with it "on them" for those like yourself.

1 ReplyImo the quest for rat king was quiet difficult at the time since I was about 279 light when I did it and having to do the nightfall with 5 minutes remaining was difficult. When I got it, it was disappointing. Having to do all that work for a sidearm which was going to use up a exotic weapon slot and or a kinetic slot when I could have (for example) better devils was a huge disappointment.

2 RepliesFor all the Rat King haters - Graviton Forfeit saves this gun. Give it to your Hunter, put on Graviton Forfeit, you get double the invisibility on reloads. Also, the gun is not bad. You have to play it like a sidearm, i.e., get in close and spam bullets. If you're standing back and aiming like a hand cannon, it's awful. If you're in close and fan firing it like you would Last Word, it's quite effective, even against larger enemies.

3 RepliesThe rat king was a stupid gun to get.. If your friends already done the quest and you have not you cant get it since you need someone else with the quest to get it to work.. I got it but its crappy as hell , and don't work well at all.. more teamshotting in a bad way in PVP and in PVE its utterly useless.

4 Repliesi don't understand why they made the quest for the rat king so difficult when the gun itself isn't that good...i really wanted to use it but it didn't give me an advantage over any other hand cannons so it's obvious nobody is going to use it...if it were at least just as good as the better devils then people would actually use it knowing that if they have another player using one they'll get a buff
