If the Savathun expansion is called the Taken Queen, I'll print out the Books of Sorrow and eat them. (Poll: Should Savathun be called the Taken Queen?)

Bet. You can hold me to this. Now, if that title made you click on the post, maybe you'll hear me out on why I think it shouldn't be called the Taken Queen. First, it's lazy and really awful. We already had a Taken King, let Savathun have her own identity. Second, there are better titles for her. The word Queen is stale. Lame. Give us something cool! Third, we already have a Queen, the Queen of the Reef. If they put 2 characters who have the title of Queen into the game, referring to their interaction will be a little annoying to do shorthand. Fourth, finally (and a bit more seriously,) I don't think she would choose to be Queen if the spot was open, simply by her nature. She wants to backstab, cheat, and swindle. She's treacherous. The spot of a leader required to make decisions would probably better suited to Xivu Arath. Despite her desire to be on the frontlines in combat as a Knight, someone confrontational and confident is probably a better choice to lead the Hive than a character who wants to lurk in the shadows and strike opportunistically. I really don't think she'd make for an interesting leader character. It just doesn't fit her nature. Now, none of this is to say you can't refer to the Fall Expansion as Taken Queen for shorthand. Tl;Dr this is a post about why I hope Bungie don't call it that. Edit: I know that she isn't called the Taken Queen, I'm saying that I see the name tossed around a lot and I don't want Bungie to think that's a good name. Note: Edited the title to "Savathun expansion" instead of "fall expansion" to better reflect my thoughts.
