Listen I understand it’s not always easy to receive gear with masterworks. But if we are dismantling them I think 2 or 3 masterwork cores should be the amount. 1 core item is BS! Fix this please....

Agreed. Either the drop rate needs to increase or dismantling gives 3 cores.
-
It’s just another mindless grind to create the illusion of content because the game has no meaningful content.

I would trade 100 legendary shards for 1 masterwork core all day long 👍
-
50% of complaints about D2: "Bungie, where's the grind?" The other 50% of complaints about D2: "Dear God, how much grind do I need to get 10 masterwork cores?!" Do you see why Bungie are in a no win situation with its players?
-
Make cores cost glimmer that way in case you need an extra one you can buy it . Bring speaker back from the dead to sell cores. Your grind would be fun if masterworks were actually good but they barely do anything at all.
-
In happy with the rate. Any quicker and it’s too easy.
-
All Bungie has to do is bring back the Gjallarhorn!
-
Out of the last 10 masterworks I’ve gotten I’ve only received 1 core from dismantling each, ridiculous.
-
Never forget that Halo Reach CR Grind. We need that guy again.
-
Rather have banshee selling cores for parts or shards over a dismantling rate adjustment.
-
I got a few masterwork weapons, and they're nice and all, but not really a massive game changer, haven't bothered to log back in to collect masterworks armour, can't see the point..... The duplicate loot system and dull gameplay of D2 keeps me away, even the dual primary system is dull..... D2 is just dull and uninspiring. The only improvements over D1 is map travel and ledge grab lol
-
I don’t think it matters. Not trying to be a wise a$$, but the system itself is weak. Wouldn’t stress about it, just dismantle and before u know it, you’ll have more than enough.
-
It's like legendary shards. The first 50 are the hardest to get. But after that you don't know where to put them anymore. Just calm down and keep playing. I mean, it's Destiny 2. What the hell do you need that one more masterwork for anyway?
-
They had this problem solved when we could max our gear out with that weird red ball thing from D1.
-
I feel like I’ve been getting less masterwork items ever since they’ve added it to the armour drops.
-
Dude I’m sitting on over a hundred. They are everywhere. 1 is fine
-
Stop complaining just grind
-
Yes!!! The last 6 have turned into just 1 core n it’s extremely disheartening. Knowing I had the potential of 18 n just receiving 6 😡😡😡. I get RNG n it usually doesn’t bother me-but when it’s RNG on top of RNG 😡😡😡. So many little issues as well as big issues that do nothing but make the game frustrating-I genuinely wonder why I’m still forcing myself to play this thing??
-
Yeah, dismantling an item only to get 1 core when the drop rate for masterworks items are rare truly isn’t worth it. I agree. Keep the same stingy drop rate just up the minimum from dismantling from 1 up to 2-3.

Edited by Darth Blush: 2/18/2018 2:17:42 AMI agree and believe an argument could be made to increase the number of guaranteed Cores. If the inflationary costs of activating and re-rolling a masterwork are going to remain at each of their current respective levels, there should be an increase in the availability of Cores and a guaranteed 5 from dismantling.

Edited by CookieNiki: 2/18/2018 2:20:46 AMAgreed. In a game that isn't that much fun to play, making people grind endlessly to get something supposed to make the game more fun is stupid. First make it enjoyable to play all across the board, then balance the grind accordingly and not the other way around.
-
A guaranteed 3 would be enough for me
-
Agreed, there needs to be a set amount per dismantle so you know just how many weapons/armour pieces you need to make something you use a masterwork. Needing between 4 and 10 masterworks to make a masterwork weapon isn't right
-
Agreed

It does seem a but stingy. Maybe old Calamari Face could sell them.
