Ok, for those of you ranting at me for pointing out that the LV80 does in fact have the right to post now, I neither like nor dislike LV80...
I merely stated that by BUNGIES own “rules”, that he has met their criteria for posting in the forum.
As for LV80 himself, he has the right to protest anything he wants... no matter how we view his personal opinion, and yes, there are way more than just a few hundred who agree with him.... do you honestly think that the MULTIPLE MILLIONS that HAVE stopped playing do not agree with him ???
And as for those who say he’s nothing but toxic for the forums... how is his opinions more toxic, than Bungie’s intentional putting out a game that is so barely playable ???
Seems to me that the producer, supplier, and distributer of all this “toxicity”, is in origin.... Bungie.

Don't delude yourself into thinking Lethal is just an unsatisfied customer. He's been going nuts about D2, a game he did not purchase and didn't play until the forum restrictions, when he downloaded the demo and spent (so he says) 20 minutes playing to reach the farm. He's in this because of the attention it gets him. He posts an anti-D2 hate topic, and immediately it's bombarded with upvotes and people telling him how wonderful he is. Kind of ridiculous, really.

I know the type that LV80 is, I’ve been reading his posts on D1 - D2 since the beginning of the Destiny franchise. He did buy and play D1. He did not buy D2, due to the fact that he saw how much of a train wreck it was going to turn out to be (if you had been reading his posts back during the tail end of D1 (pre D2), you would know that). So he opted not to buy D2, but to set and watch the carnage begin. I believe that he speaks out constantly, not under the descriptive “trolling” everyone labels him, but more as to make people see that they (Bungie) lied, deceived, schemed, and stole from the gaming community. LV80 spam-posts to make a statement to all, that repeated, ongoing tactics like these are not right, and if not stood up against, only make for a much worse future when it comes to big businesses taking advantage of and doing wrong to the customers. No, I do not always agree with some of his postings, but I give him the floor to voice his opinions, issues and concerns. It also helps that he will post sites to back up his topics, rather than just post words.

If you examine his posts, they tend to either state generalized feelings about the game, or they gloat about real or imagined decreases in the game's player base. There are no suggestions on how to improve the game experience, and he is powerless to make them because he hasn't played the game. His posts are exclusively destructive in nature. As a former site moderator, I had to deal with a person like him once: this individual was careful to stay within the rules, but everything he did was intended to make those around him as miserable as possible. I don't know if Lethal's motivations are that simple, but I know this: he brings nothing good to this community. He's almost certainly doing this because of the approval it gets him: he has all the altruistic motivation of a four-year-old deliberately misbehaving just to get attention. The deeper problem, of course, lies in the events of the last year or so, starting with the 2-14-17 patch that laid the groundwork for the changes in Destiny 2, changes that the player base did not like. We have a whole site full of players who spent years eating and breathing Destiny, and they're angry and frustrated because its sequel fell so short of their expectations. Whatever anti-D2 garbage Lethal posts, they'll eat it up like ice cream. That is what this site has deteriorated into. Posts with ideas to improve the game experience are downvoted or relegated to oblivion. Posts full of non-productive hate trend insanely, and a manipulator like Lethal can flourish in that environment, despite not even having played the game. You can respect his right to freedom of speech, you can acknowledge that at least he respects people's right to disagree with him... but at the end of the day, he's still just trolling.

True. However, LV spams the forums with endless variations on the same thing, hating on a game he's (by his own admission) spent 20 minutes playing. He does this because it gets him the attention of various sycophants, many of whom are toxic by your definition. His intention is clearly to make the lives of both Bungie and those who still play D2 miserable, and he hides his attention-seeking abusiveness behind freedom of speech. I regard him as toxic for that reason.

Yes, but just because LV80 himself has only played 20 minutes that “you verified” ONLY through his GT, does that mean that he hasn’t played elsewhere on someone else’s account ? OR that maybe he has watched others play Destiny in its entirety ? Forgive my bluntness, but when I read fanboys postings on here, to me it seems that unless all the rest of us outright agree with you fanboys, that you all get triggered to some degree over our dislike postings Why is that ??? Does the person who is in dislike, or disgusted with this game NOT have the right to post their thoughts openly ??? I'm not a fanboy. Matter of fact, I've been waging my own campaign against them ever since the special ammo nerf, a year ago today. But, my efforts have been intended to fix some very real issues in a franchise I enjoy. Lethal Viper doesn't play D2, he's just here to troll. The fact that Bungie produced a substandard product does not change that.
