Division 1.8 vs Destiny 2 ..
Talk about a game that has made a come back and listens to its player base .. talk about a game that is constantly dropping loot with random rolls .. talk about a game that is fun .. that game is Division 1.8 ... and Bungie/Destiny 2 can learn a lot from the Division 1.8 ....yeah I said it

The Divison 1.8 is near perfection but I guess it is for grown ups and hardcore gamers who like a challenge and feel satisfied with the rewards after the incursions are over etc. Destiny on the other-hand is for people who want that easy experience that requires absolutely no skill whatsoever the AI in Destiny 2 is laughable at least, nerfed enemies to the point they are bullet sponges and have absolutely no real substance. They are aliens a race that have wiped out entire civilizations and the Vex are advanced AI that have absolutely no tactical awareness yet people laugh at The Division. The level of of difficulty is apparent, the level of intelligence is based on the characters in play criminals are not gonna present as much of a challenge compared to say the LMB they are military and it shows they dominate the battle field. What I can't stand about the Destiny community is their toxic attitude as well as the feeling they are great, bring yourself to Last Stand on PVP and you will soon learn how real combat games are played.

2 RepliesDestiny 2 is a terrible game that spits on the legacy of its incredible predecessor. The Division is just a piece of forgettable garbage. The only thing I find more bizarre than people that still defend Bungie is people that still defend the division. Update it all you want. The gameplay is terrible.

4 RepliesHardcore player of both games. Destiny 2 on its worst day is better than The Division on its best. Which is why I still play Destiny and walked away from The Division. While patch 1.8 is a significant improvement to the game, its still not enough to rekindle my interest. The only thing that Bungie can learn from Massive is this: COME UP WITH A COHESIVE VISION OF THE GAME...GET EVERYONE IN THE STUDIO BEHIND IT...AND STICK WITH IT. Massive knew coming out of the blocks that The Division was an action-RPG...that just had some PVP added. Despite all the games other problems, they've never wavered from that....and now its finally paying off. The Division has become a good game. The problem with Destiny is that its an action-RPG that was created by a studio that sees its self as one that makes shooter games. So Bungie----and factions within the company----have been FIGHTING the nature of their own game for the last 3 years. Almost every problem Destiny has stems from Bungie trying to take this RPG game....and trying to either manage it like, or force it to behave like....a shooter game. Bungie needs to embrace the fact that----regardless of their history or identity as a company----they made an action RPG....and learn to manage the type of game that it is. ...and stop trying to make it be the game they wanted it to be. (Which was the mistake they made with Destiny 2).

1 ReplyIt is VERY ironic. The Division is a game that learned from Destiny but it turns out to be a better game than Destiny 2. This LITERALLY says Bungie has learned NOTHING from Destiny 1...and they made it.

Those guys worked hard as hell to get that game to where it is today. However.. I still play Destiny more often. Just more fun with friends. The nonsense doesnt kill that for me. Now when they run the Global Events in the Division you bet I am playing that all week. The new one starts on the 24th and the masks are pretty sweet this time around. Trust me.. play and grind the Global Events.
