It would be cool to have land fall and teleport as a warlock. It would be fun to have explode hammers and sunspots. Though it won't be a lot of options if they bring it back they bring more the freedom the players had

it should be a requirement for bungie to respond to every topic with 1k upvotes or more

Edited by Smith5084: 12/16/2017 5:00:00 AMAt this point, the best thing that Bungie could do would be to abandon D2 altogether, and go back to making expansions to D1. I genuinely don’t see any way that this game can be saved. It would take a complete and total rework of virtually every aspect of the game. I logged in for a little while for the first time since this week’s update, and absolutely nothing about the game feels even the slightest bit different. This game sucks, plain and simple. That’s why I, along with the rest of my clan that played D1 nonstop for 3 years, put it down for two months prior to the DLC, but then I gave it another shot, and it still sucked. But then I was told that I needed to give it another week, because there was a big patch coming to address a lot of the issues that people have with the game, so I did. Still sucks. D2 is a lot like D1, the only thing missing is the fun. Bungie has literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with this game. They should have kept expanding on what they already had instead of doing a complete reboot. Starting over has brought back all of the same issues that Destiny had at launch. It’s a bare bones game that will take 3 years to flesh out to make it into a complete game.

Dude. This is one of the reasons Destiny 1 feels like the sequel for Destiny 2! Should be the other way around obviously.
-
Skill trees in this game are about as dumbed down and mindless as it gets. Honestly thought since they allegedly learned from D1 that they'd go much deeper but they made it worse. You want a -blam!-in skill tree? Path of exile...

-
Absolutely!
-
I know I miss being able to have Landfall and Arc Web at the same time.
-
Didn’t you people just run two efficient builds? I don’t see the outcry they’ve only cut out the “fat” in that sloppy system that was D1
-
No, not really lol everyone used pretty much the same build anyway besides, this toxic community would just cry about recycling old content or some shit like that. You know its true
-
Any combo related Talents would be a nice addition. Even cross-class synergy: Dawnblades making/utilizing Sunspots, for example.
-
Down voted because the whole game needs to start over... I'm gone and won't come back until I see wholesale changes in game play and approach by the company... probably need a couple high exec firings and new blood..

Edited by Akira00x: 12/16/2017 6:37:30 PMWould be way to complicatet for our beloved fellow Guardian Mark Noseworthy. Therefore Bungo needs to keep Stuff simple, so even the most dumbest Ape on Earth are unable to make any "mistakes" in this shitfest called Destiny 2.
-
Yeah, I miss the old trees, and to be honest, anyone who couldn't figure them out probably couldn't figure out how to equip and use weapons, either.
-
It's incredibly insulting having a dev call everyone who plays their game "stupid" and figured making the subclass change more elementary so people have the best load outs (even then these loadouts for the most part are ass)
-
I must disagree, strongly. Whose idea is it that you can customize your character’s face, but not their abilities? Makes no sense that you should chose between any ability. That is simply intolerable. That is like chewing food and holding a fork at the same time. Absolutely ridiculous... “I bet none of you here can walk with shoes on your feet and carry a bag of groceries at the same time. It is impossible. It shouldn’t be allowed! That is too complicated for a Guardian wielding the Light to do!” ..Excerpt from confidential Sandbox email.. Thanks BungieLeaks, and a special thank you to Mr Asausage...
It is Sarcasm, just in case English is your first language 🤣
Kinda miss it kinda don't cause. Only ran 1 configuration of each thing. Plus with the current perks some would clash with each other and just make no sense. I would like to pick my melee ablity though. Here's my proposal. Make the trees apply only to the super and how it charges Make dodge and melee ablities on seperate trees.
-
Everybody wants more customs on their Super. But I dont think it’ll come before D3 and I don’t think we should expect going back to what we first had experienced in Destiny. Personally, I want to be able to have devour on my Titan and so forth. They should make more customs like FFX where the ability trees were all connected and allowed you to grab all the things you wanted with your limited amount of XP
-
Ommfg yes, what idiot thought this was a good ideal. Pull that moron and move him to the mailroom.
-
They would need to improve the system. D1s did not provide any real choice or customization as everything good was mutually exclusive and half the perks sucked. You also couldnt have landfall and teleport in D1 either without an exotic.
-
Yes, for me this is a huge deal. Since I only play one class one character. I could switch things up based on content played. It made my one single character feel like many, and actually felt like it was MY character, and not bungies.

Yeah they absolutely regressed when it comes to the rpg aspect of this game. I was forgiving with D1 being this new game trying to tie in 2 major gaming platforms into 1 unique experience. D1 was hardly the rpg experience that I expected. But it also wasn't nearly as shallow as destiny 2. We should have more customization and character stat control. Not less. The leveling up serves absolutely no mechanical purpose outside the vanilla story. Then what? I go power level. Why add 5 more levels with dlc? I don't get perks. Or even attributes I can upgrade. Destiny Needs a competitor.
-
Double Down on RPG mechanics please
-
Oh you will get them back. When they release the new DLC and charge you for the privilege. I wouldn't mind betting we will get story missions back as well. Here you go have some more content, you've already played it but we are short on what to put in the new DLC so we held back on it until now.
