FLASHPOINT MERCURY.....
ONE......ONE Public Event! That takes almost 15 minutes to respawn lol.... what the hell is going on at Bungie?
Edit: Just to be clear, I did read and did know about the Defenders to also get Credit from.
The main reason behind the post is the Spawn timer for the actual event.

Edited by Sinister: 12/17/2017 5:32:35 AMI found it doesn't take any longer than completing 3 heroic strikes and it's not not nearly as long as crucible milestone. You just search and kill the other parts of the milestone before an event spawns. It's really not that bad at all.

It’s honestly not that bad. I thought it would be, but after giving a shot and realising how many yellow bar enemies there are that count towards the percentage it ends up being a much of a muchness.

Ran 1 event.. 3 patrols ... 1 event.. killed stuff in between. Took maybe 30 mins. Relax..

I did one today and had 37% completion so it's less to finish the milestone compared to other planets.

It doesn't take any longer to complete the Mercury flashpoint than any other planet. There are valid things to complain about in D2. This is not one of them.

30 RepliesYou do realize it says you can kill the Mercury Defenders and such to progress the Flashpoint right? It takes about the same time as the other Flashpoints.

Did it in 15 or so minutes, do a public, run around killing stuff until the public spawns again, bam done.

While the flashpoint is on, it feels like there's a lot more going on - I'm jumping around in rings shooting vex, then some giant hydra appears followed by captured cabal, and interceptors passing through and then defenders/conquerors. There's a lot going on at once and if your running around mercury looking for chests like I was then it actually looks pretty cool.

3 RepliesTrust me I was on the dlc pay-gate bandwagon but people without the dlc have gotten their fix. They’ve gotten their prestige raid and trials back, now they need to shut up. They can’t expect the rest of the game to sit still for them. Honestly, if they want to progress with the game, spend 20 dollars. If they don’t, fine, that’s their prerogative, but they can’t expect everything to remain in the game either.

It takes 3 events vs 6/7 in EDZ. It evens out.

Took me 15mins to do the flash point..its actually the quickest if you do it as intended.

1 ReplyYep it's a joke. I don't even bother sitting there waiting for the public event, I do the pvp milestone and in between games check mercury to see if a public event is coming. No point just sitting there for a hour waiting and waiting. And before anyone says Read the milestone it says kill yellow bars lelelelelel I killed one it gave me 3% on the milestone... Yeah I'm ok

2 RepliesI got the flashpoint done in less than an hour just roaming around mercury shooting yellow bars and doing maybe 2 public events. I was surprised how fast I got it done TBH, as I wasn't really trying to rush it, I was just enjoying myself playing.

Had a lot of fun on Mercury roaming around killing the yellow bars. It's nice to have some tougher enemies rather than going to the EDZ to battle dregs that fall over and die when you slap them.
