Are you serious? [spoiler]I'm top 1 percent pvper and[/spoiler] I can tell you the gun is broken. Who are the monkeys upvoting this? PVE I couldn't care less, but for PVP I litterally can't play it right now when I want to. Which is a shame.
Update: Played trials over the weekend... I won just as much as i usually do. And went flawless. It just wasn't fun in my opinion and I'm done with crucible until Tuesday. Also added a spoiler to cover up my placement in trails because it so clearly upset many people for some reason.

The only reason you are getting called out is cause: 1. Your elo from last season puts you at 67k in ranking. 2. Mainly though you just dont have a good kd or kda. Like it looks like out of your regular group you are the weakest link. But yes, the lens makes gameplay even worse than usual. Tuesday can't come soon enough.

Now keep in mind 2 things. Sure you're rank 10k and whatever hundred right now. You claim to be top 1%? You are assuming there are 1 million PvP players on PC that are ranked from this weekend. And going off last seasons ranking of 67k you assume 6.7 million people played. Point two is lots of people are avoiding trials this weekend. Lots of people don't want to play laser tag, or don't take it seriously. If you look at your k/d or kda you are trying to tell me around a 1.3 kd, or 2kda is top 1%? My stats are better than that and I am by no means top 1%. I'm not saying you are a bad player by any means. Just saying dont make false claims and really have no backing to them. You will get called out on it.

It wasn't an enormous problem in PvP, but it was used a fair bit--and it was suuuuuper strong. Most people just didn't want to give up the exotic slot. The Last Word, Hawkmoon, First Curse, MIDA, No Land Beyond (heart) and others were way more valuable than Gally. I used Gally in crucible sometimes when rolling with legendaries. It would have been played a ton if it were still in beast mode when Grasp of Malok or Eyasluna were being paired with Her Benevolence (also heart).

When ttk released I was all over first curse, party crasher (until I got Deidris's retort) and quillins terminus. Unfortunately roi was released and then people who can't use a gun started using palindrome. Because of the higher rof and slightly lower impact it could still 3/4 tap so First curse and any other high impact HC was made obsolete and useless.

First Curse was a ton of fun. When I saw Bad News in Destiny 2, I thought I was going to like it--slow, hard-hitting and methodical. Unfortunately, it feels awful. I do really like Steady Hand, though.

I've found I like annual skate or nature of the beast (new crucible Hc). So far I'm liking crimson but it isn't working out all that well in pve due to the low ammo reserves since it's a Hc. Works great in crucible though since it reloads and heals on kills. Just gotta get in close.

I’m with you. The lens broke crucible. I can’t even play it. Thank god xur sold it so I can at least stand a chance. This thread shows why the community is a bunch of morons and bungie doesn’t listen to them. The gun clearly breaks the balance of the game and guardians have the nerve to tell me that it’s not overpowered. One person literally told me that scout rifles and hand cannons are still viable and I’m not playing right. Gtf outta here.

lol exactly these morons are the same randoms you get on your team in crucible and you just get slaughtered. They just don't understand the game or how to play it. I loved trials this week. All these idiots who thought they were good at the game because they had the lens. My team just slaughtered them. Give a monkey a gun they are still a monkey haha

You complained and said you wouldn't play crucible because of the gun. Then you proceeded to play a game mode where you knew a large majority of your opponents would be using the gun. Call us monkeys but you my friend are bungie's tool.
