• My problem isn't the guns, it's who owns them. We need to do something to keep firearms out of the hands of people who mean to commit evil acts with them.

    • I don't really care much. A criminal is going to get a gun whether it's illegal or not.

Idk why the government doesn't just set the game mode settings to melee damage only.

I think gun regulation should be similarly regulated as automobiles, which are also easily capable of killing.

        • All guns regulated. US has access to tech we can't even imagine, they can and should implant a tracking device on every gun produced and should these br removed it will immediately send a red flag to local police stations.

We can debate the logistics of gun control until the cows come home but what we have now simply isn't working. I just wish we'd crack down a little harder. More rigorous background checks and/or stricter requirements to own a gun, specifically designed to keep them out of the hands of any criminals or anybody with a semblance of deep emotional turmoil.

          • People should be required to go through some form of gun handling training and classes on how to properly store a firearm before they even get a chance to buy one. Simply buying one without any form of training in handling, storage, and safety is a terrible idea.

                • All guns should be regulated. At the moment, litteraly anyone can walk right into a store and walk out with a lethal weapon with no strings attached. You have to have a license to drive, so you don't hurt anyone by being reckless. You do not have to own license for a weapon designed only to kill. That's fucked.

                  • A lot of people do not realize that it is actually quite hard and in some sense expensive to get a gun in US. Law requires to fill out ATF Form 4473 and conduct NICS check, in addition to local and state requirements. Every time person buys a gun, he or she will go through this process again. Any criminal history, domestic abuse, drugs or alcohol, etc. and a person will not pass. There are plenty of laws! I really like guns, have been shooting since I was a kid, and competing in various disciplines for a decade. I work with guns as a firearms instructor and range officer. I believe that law abiding citizen should be able to get a gun. Yes, I think that guns should be regulated but in a more smart way than just by banning certain types of firearms, features, or accessories. There is no one-fits-all solution to gun violence and there are a lot different factors other than guns that play role. Lastly, I think that gun control debate needs a middle ground, both sides are extremely polarized and this situation adds more fuel to a fire. People are just repeating “popular” ideas/point of views without making any type of research. Cooperation and education are what’s necessary!

                    • If someone wants to go on a killing spree, they will find a way to do it regardless of weapon laws. Restrict guns and there is still a wonderful place called the black market in which criminals thrive. All this would do is restrict citizens with good intentions from being able to defend themselves. This is like when a bunch of snowflakes marching around in medieval times shouting for "sword control". Didn't work then, won't work now.

                      • I think it should be harder for people who shouldn't have guns from getting guns, but other than that I'm fine with people owning them. Just not things like rocket launchers, flamethrowers, etc. Pretty much things that are absolute overkill.

                        • IMO only sidearms should be allowed and with a very strict background check. Everything else shouldn't be free to buy but maybe you'll be able to fire them at shooting ranges. But then again it's not my country so it isn't up to me to decide.

                              • I think it is important to have control of your gun at all time. You need to hold it with both hands and make sure you have a good shot before you fire.

                              • See, when our founding fathers founded this not so great nation based on hypocricy and half truths and freedom for some. They put into the constitution, (which by the way was a by product of delegates secretly coming together to amend the Articles of Confederation) they put into the constitution that rid bit about everyone having the right to bear arms and rise up against a tyrannical government so that they could in essence keep “in check” the govt if it ever got too rowdy. Keep in mind this was the day and age that generals rode in front of their fighting forces, on Horses, and wielded Swords in hopes to rally their Teen soldiers who carried guns that were only accurate from about 10 ft away and took literally a minute to load for one more shot before said teen got ran through by a bayonet. Things have changed, and it should not be a Right to arms, it should be a privlege. To buy a gun it definitely should be regulated so -blam!-ing hard the linatics who aim to shoot up concerts and little kids schools get -blam!-ing discovered and not even be able to look at a god damm gun. But for the other normal people the govt just has to come up with a plan of strict background checks or what not- Literally everything I just said ^^^^ is bs ab federal regulation, as soon as gun owners gave any headway to the govt their guns would be gone so fast they would -blam!- their cousins. And even though a gunfight with a federal bomber is a little one sided, America needs the assurance they have some power in Their hands to wield against the govt, if only in the form of a gun that never leaves the safe in their basement. Also shooting guns is fun and anyone who doesn’t think so needs to actually go and shoot one it’s really satisfying. Not saying kill anything there are plenty of places one can go and shoot targets and whatnot. I kid you not skeet shooting is one of the funnest things to do, my whole family has shooting competitions every Christmas and thanksgiving, even little 7 year olds are out there with pistols shooting the -blam!- out of some metal target.
if you’ve read this far you’re a legend and that’s just how I feel (another comedy allusion also if you get that you’re a double -blam!-ing legend)
