would a huge clan combining xbox, ps4 and pc players work out?

interested in converting my pc clan into an all platform clan. and developing a system where they would be put under their platform category. and then they could mute the voice chats for the platforms they dont use.

what would be the point? Destiny doesn't do cross-platform multiplayer so you'd never interact with those clan members
