Hello Guardians, Yeah, Its me again. I know a lot of you are angry about the stream yesterday and about the IGN video, but its ok to be disappointed, sad, or even happy. We are all still here for the same reasons. Lately I've been thinking about the future of destiny and about if destiny has a future with me in it. I think Its very clear that both games were rushed, and this isn't the game anyone had hoped for, Including bungie. I don't blame them, but I am a bit disappointed in them for teaming up with activision. Activision and EA are the worst. Back to the topic at hand. I thought I'd take down so of the wishes/ideas players have for destiny 3. Here is a list a good friend made way to early. D2 hadn't even been released, but I guess he saw something we didn't: NOTE: You can skip the first spoiler if you want as I have made updated addition in the third spoiler. Less Stress on the hybrid servers and pvp, more time to fix the game (dying light, ghost recon wild lands, Gta V, ect) Separate PvP and PvE Equip ALL exotics Destructible buildings in both pvp and pve Bots in private matches/Srl/ Sparrows with guns (….mario kart, so) Solo egc Limitless leveling (...meh) Flying in space and on Planets Swimming/diving/boats/underwater wildlife Set perks, and stats, but customized weapons colors, scopes, etc. Your 4, yes 4 (or 3 idk -blam!- you) guardians are with you on missions and you can switch between them on the fly( gta V ref) 3rd person option (more on this...now) so that you can see the character you are playing, including playable vanguard leaders, The stranger, and the queen BOOOOOOOOOOOM. Includes back story missions for characters. Don’t care If you don’t like this one. Smart raids, raids that adjust to player count 1-8 players ):) Destinies weapon system!!!! (primary, secondary, heavy) with burns on all weapons 6V6 TO18v18!!!! GO -blam!-ING CRAZY WITH IT….BUNGIE!!! More vehicles/ customizable weaponized sparrow Crazy amount of wildlife. Alien bears, etc Optional matchmaking for strikes New subclasses good for both attacking and support.( Perfect example, titan (captan) america) New elements, Ice/water, rock, air, poison, time, telekinesis. Let us just buy the damn cosmetics items. Get rid of random boxes with crazy RNG repeated items (you won’t)[/quote][/spoiler] I see a few problems within that list after having played Destiny 2. [spoiler] One) Bungie won't have time to do any of that having to manage both Destiny, D2, and create D3. But we should still hope, and we should still ask or they wont know. Two) Set weapon rolls were a mistake Three) Most of that sounds too good to be true. [/spoiler] So I guess Ill add on and edit the list with his blessing. D2 added new characters on planets. I feel like those resources could've went towards our guardians speaking. I mean will we ever hear from those characters again? Much like the queen in the stranger? Though I agree, less stress on servers and less maintenance, Bungie is worried about pirating. Not saying I don't like the idea, I would be down for a the witcher 3 style Destiny game. Clearly pvp has a bigger impact on pve than pve does on pvp. The new weapons system is proof of that. No way is anyone having fun using two primaries in a raid. So, yeah agree. Bump, None of my friends currently play destiny 2 so I play solo most of the time because if my schedule,friends quit playing, and most of the endgame requires a team. We need some grind back, or reforge all weapons. I know I'm pushing it to asking for this but.....Let players customize everything on their weapons. Scopes, attachments, nodes everything but stats. I can see it now. Setting the difficulty level, fighting an army of vex or moth people, and having a blast. Love it. Guess I'll add [b]Commands prompts[/b] like "Hellfire" where everyone uses their supers, or "cover me" so that you can heal or reload, "Focus fire" for boss dps, "clear adds", I could go on for days on this. Too good to be true idea right here. And/or The three guardians should have their own unique campaign that takes them on different paths, and occasionally meet up with each other for fireteam mission. The campaign could be dynamic and change depending on what each guardian does and the choices they make. The current guardian you are playing could be the one speaking in the cutscenes with the other two saying a word or two. Actually really like this idea. Especially being able to play as the leaders like ikora, and Cayde. [/quote] I agree, but this will never change. All current gen game are loot boxes and cards now.
