Who would rather play their fps pvp solo then with a team?
I️ hate communicating, I️ hate teamwork, I️ come from the days of doom on fps.
I️ have 3 kids in bed at night, my free time to game and the last thing I️ need are the Little’s ones getting up to my voice call outs.
This isn’t some mlg tournament where I️ need to be working with a team cause money is on the line. I’m just trying to kill shit.
Bungie please add a solo/ mercenary deathmatch playlist.

4 RepliesSolo players are shafted in this game. Y'know Bungie, it's not that I don't have a team to play with, it's that I WANT to play alone to practice my gunplay but you can't do that when there aren't 1v1 engagements at all.

Solo queueing to Team Objective 50 in the Halo games was less stressful than queueing solo in Destiny - a game where the outcome has no impact whatsoever. That said, I would never ask for a dedicated solo playlist, solo players are needed to balance out teams of three BUT it comes with matching the teams, of equal size, FIRST. Sitting in orbit for 30 seconds while there's only you, as a solo player. and a team of four should never happen. That's a matchmaking system that isnt even trying, it just matches the first people it happens to find - regardless of group size. Also, for group matching to work there also needs to be some form of skill matchmaking - or you'll constantly get matches where one group is significally better than the other and the solo player who fills the 4th spot will have no impact on the outcome. It's just beyond me how Halo 2 and 3 could make it work while the Destiny games, which have way more players, cant.

Sometimes I load in with a friend [b]then[/b] Bungie gives me two people to make a team. No one said you have to talk to anyone. Just pick a meat shield and stick with them. Not difficult solo. Why do you folks seem to have this problem? A little too use to playing Rumble?

I hate going in solo and end up getting stomped by a sweaty Trials fireteam who camps Power ammo. Hey a strategy that works is a strategy that works but I run into this far too frequently.

I don't care, but it pisses me off with playing solo and playing clans. Listen it's fine you play with clanmates I get that. Bungie needs to make clans play clans solo queue vs solo

So sick of being stuck in a join-in-progress game that should have been mercy-ruled long before. Flown in a few times and before my feet touch the ground, lost the game. Horrible matchmaking algorithm.

1 ReplyI prefer freelance tbh. Organised grouping often feels like a job where you're tied to the keyboard/headset. I need to be able to drop without notice as I'll always be doing RL stuff.

3 RepliesThis PVP is a disaster for solo players. Forget winning or losing, killing or dying...it’s just not FUN anymore. Sure, I can sometimes find random other solo players that huddle together pretty well and we might stomp people, but it’s just not fun. I wanted to like it. I really did. I put hundreds of hours into D1 PVP and went from hating ANY PVP to hitting top 3% in Clash at one point. Can’t be bothered with this D2 PVP though. Soon as that milestone is done, I’m out. Such a bummer.

You sound like me 3 kids and my gaming time limited to when they are asleep. Im with you last thing I want is to have to converse and potentially wake up my kids hell in D1 I often played pvp without any volume. I then bought myself some secent headphones and started using them instead. +1 for a solo queue esp for Iron Banner

I'll go along with that. If they can do 4v4, they shouldn't have trouble doing Rumble, 6 players in all.

Edited by DudJoL246: 11/18/2017 3:53:24 PMIm pretty certain no one complained about 6v6 or rumble, but they removed them anyway. I dont always want to be forced to play team shot. Bungie, my irl friends who i played D1 crucible with on repetitive loops are signing on infrequently because this pvp mode frankly gets boring fast. Your friendship end game wont work when I can't convince said friends to engage in the same 2 crucible playlists over and over, and frankly i dont blame them. Its almost 2018 and you restricted one of the most popular fps games on the market to... two types of 4v4. How exciting.
