Do you care about Destiny as a franchise?
I'm not necessarily asking if you like the franchise. I just want to see how many people care.

To me the Destiny franchise is like Star Wars. D1 is equivalent to A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. D2 is like The Phantom Menace it does not exist.

Edited by Legion: 11/15/2017 3:21:01 PMI have enjoyed it in Year one, not so much 2 and 3 because all I had to look forward to was Iron Banner and how everything turned into team shot with the end result of the first. They obviously don't care much for solo players (looking at the raids.) Until they implement something for this and quit catering to the PvP community and separate PvP and PvE stats I'll think about a purchase. Until then I'll stay on the fence and hope for the best. A lot of players care, myself included. Most of the forum posts prove that. Sure, a lot of people do not articulate their points well and come off as "salty", but they would not bother to post at all if they did not care about the franchise. Destiny 2 is just...... blah. It's a watered down version of what Destiny became over 3 years of continual improvements. D1 was far from perfect, but the fact that many here prefer that over what was delivered for D2? THAT is truly sad. Bungie has failed to hook "new" players and managed to alienate the core group of "veteran" Destiny fans. That is a bad combination for the longevity of this franchise.

Care too much, lol. I want destiny, but D2 doesn't even qualify for a watered down version anymore. D1 was a destiny, D2 is a deployment nightmare If the only model bungievision has is the cash cow model, this game has reached as far as it can go. Sure peeps will play, but will always remain the game that followed D1, instead of the sequel that continued our righteous journey through the darkness, and beyond.
