As soon as the big boys on the PC side start trying out the game, they will see the issues this game has. I doubt Bungie realizes that PC players put a TON of time on games. PC streamers have large crowds of people and honesty I feel this is where the money comes from, not the casuals. If Bungie was smart, they would know when to drop the wheelchair for Tom father of 3 children and actually make the end game what it should be. Not saying to completely ignore the casual player, but maybe, I don't know... MAKE THIS GAME PLAYABLE. You have competitive Overwatch players coming and trying out PvP... "oh I thought I killed him... I guess not?". You have hardcore WoW and Diablo players jumping on, giving their game a break to try something new... "I'm so happy I got this exotic gun, I bet this thing is going to do so much...oh, nevermind, just takes off their shields." "Alright I just finish this last thing I needed, what's next?...oh there is nothing else? guess it's back to WoW". Bungie, I love ya all, and I would hate when the big boys drop the hammer and basically embarrassed the whole company. Yall really don't understand how big these people are compared to console streamers.

"big boys"? LOL are pc gamers something to be feared? They will be pissed just like the rest of us. They have no more power to influence bungie or any developer to fix anything than console gamers. At this point if a pc gamer buys this they have nobody to blame but themselves.
-
Considering how many folks on PC can't even get the game to launch the shitstorm may start even faster than we thought it would.
-
I can tell you my point of view as a PC player. The one thing I expected and needed after playing D1 was a fully functional text chat in which to speak, ask questions, and form groups. I guess I made a false assumption of what Bungie considers 'text chat' as they advertised- so I'm currently trying to get a refund.
-
There is no difference between PC and Console players save for an elitist attitude.
-
I cant believe they would even buy the game. Dont buy it untill its fixed
-
They can't, the game keeps crashing every 30 minutes or so. LOL. What a joke, I just knew bungo would screw up their big PC launch.
-
And then only pc gets a say in changes because they will have early access to things in the database and in updates for private testing stuff and bungie only caters to PC players who never played d1 and have no hands on experience with what the older players want, and now we are all screwed
-
Why would someone with a PC after reading these reviews want to buy this game?
-
If Bungie thinks the console gamers are toxic - Oh I think Bungie is in for a bad time once PC gamers get their hands on D2.
-
There are no -blam!-in big boys on pc! Only idiots wouldnt have canceled their preorder! Theyll have a great time!
-
This is supposed to be a game that has a loot based system that has incentive. When Pc finds out what a joke this game is, Bungie is going to go silent for a long time hoping they can pass this Hog Wash off.
-
Damn I can’t ...... blizzard already gave me a refund
-
Even if PC gamers complain and it gets patched how does that help consoles?

UPDATE: 825,000 accounts logged into Crucible yesterday Oct 19th (D1 + D2 Combined) They are losing 200k a day. Only a matter of time before more people are playing D1 crucible than D2 crucible. A few days ago, there were 1,500,000 players in crucible alone!! Pve players will undoubtedly quit once they realize the game is dead. The decline curve is incredibly steep and the freefall continues. I believe the community has spoken as demonstrated by participation numbers, and the insane flow of rage in the forums. The PVP community unanimously wanted: Dedicated Servers Ranked and Unranked Playlists 6 v 6 Playlists, 3 v 3, doubles, solo (same D1 Variety) 60 FPS Not dying through a wall by laggers Bungie offered none of those and instead delivered a complete radicalization of the PVP experience STOP THE LAME LAG
-
Really couldn't care less what PC players think.
-
It doesn't take a PC gamer to realize this game failed in so many areas while only improving a few things.
-
The ego u pc players have is why console players dont like u sometimes. The big boys really? just stfu and give the feedback
-
I'm a Big BOY the BIG boys are flocking to PUBG 2 million peaks a day, a game with more issues than north korea. there's a lot of people around on PC's theses days and games far more broken than destiny 2 could ever be lmao.
-
Big boys? If they are honestly dumb enough to still buy the game after all the bad press they have no right to complain about anything. There will still be the same lack of reason to play the content. Still the same crappy reskins. The game will look slightly better and that's it.
-
I'm wondering what excuse Luke smith is going to give them other then... "it's a frends game" That line topes the, throw money at the screen lol I would say Poor Bungie But, Not, you can't lie to Pc gamers and (pretend you actually have a loot based system) knowing you don't. All your rewards but maybe a couple have no incentive for gamers to want to run the boring repetitive content to require them. What the heck were they even thinking lol
-
No, everyone who hasnt canceld preorder by now wont say shit. Pc players are well informed and know exactly what theyre gettin into
-
Edited by PJ__Bottoms: 10/22/2017 11:50:01 PMSome of you act like some of us don't play PC games as well and console players are nothing but casuals in comparison. I picked this up on console as opposed to pc because I could see it was designed specifically for console and the pc version was an afterthought port to make more $$$. This game does not belong on pc, period. Nothing pisses pc gamers off more than having their games "consolized" and this is the biggest offender in the book atm. tl:dr Console player does not = casual children with diminished opinions.

Watch these two Old Demos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIp7vZuYzoA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTfhrONAp-c (got to about 2:00) When Destiny was first being shown off we were promised a Large Shared World Shooter RPG. That was "Ancient Fantasy" + "Hard Science Fiction". That is what it was initially advertised as and what Year 3 D1 was shaping up to be. The problem is that Destiny 2 has taken the franchise into becoming a game that I simply did not want. We got a standard FPS Skill based shooter with PvP set as end-game. It is trying to use the Halo formula to satisfy the competitive shooters. That design choice does not work with Loot based games. You're fighting against human players in the Crucible and you're fighting an army of drones in PvE. What makes PvE fun is being a powerful badass what makes the Crucible fun is the competition and proving your better against a real person with access to the same weapons abilities. They're not the same and should not be balanced as such. It is trying to be a jack of all trades but consequently making it a master of none. There are games that do what Destiny does, and better. Making it a competitive PvP is the opposite of what Destiny was supposed to be and shaping up to be by Year 3. This feels like a slap in the face to the people who stuck around and supported Destiny. Bungie should stop trying to make it Halo when that is a completely different formula. PvP does not work as a core aspect in Destiny. They took what could have been an amazing RPG and made it a simple shooter. Big middle finger to the fans who made the first game successful. People are not happy because Bungie is leaning towards making a standard shooter rather than deliver on the Epic RPG that was originally promised. The developers needed more time to deliver the game's scope and depth that they originally intended to make. Destiny is made by AAA developers, supported by AAA publishers, and is sold as a $60 game. They already have the money and support they need to make a complete product. The fact that it is not a complete game at launch, and is in reality an incomplete foundation that relies on content updates as well as paid DLCs to add things that should have been in the game in the first place, is unacceptable.

But Dabest has already given his opinion #YeahThisGameSucks
-
I wouldn't go as far as calling them big boys, but that crowd is use to huge/deep games. Destiny is as deep as a puddle and as soon as the PC crowd realizes they can breeze through this game in a week or so (casually playing btw), they will start complaining just like us. Rightfully so I will add. The reviews are not going to get better once the PC crowd joins in, they are just gonna get worse. Like to know what game plan Bungie has....or if they have one at all!

Edited by BaconRiot: 10/24/2017 12:31:50 AMI mean, MIDA's biggest advantage in PVP is the 100 aim assist... Seeing as how PC gamers don't have that to begin with an entire sect of bnet complaints will be absent. This is just one example of the somewhat dynamic differences between the environments.
