You absolutely destroyed PVP.
Exotics don't even feel exotic anymore.
Weapons feel lackluster.
No random rolls ? Great idea if there was 1000+ weapons.
No light level advantage in pvp endgame ? The fool are you thinking.
Making snipers and shotguns primarily useless as heavy weapons ? Great job. Sniper and shotguns were the backbone of PVP.

in reality this should have been a DLC to Destiny - not a sequel. Destiny was supposed to be a 10 year campaign of an ever-expanding game; not cut up into smaller sequels. etc. That's what Bungie SAID at the beginning; its what they sold Destiny as in the beginning. So much for that idea. Now. Obviously compared to the entirety of D1 (3 years worth); D2 sucks. But this IS D2's vanilla we're in ATM. So take it with a grain of salt.

Edited by THUNDERCHILD: 10/22/2017 11:00:45 PMThe worst of it is that this company made Halo. Should have stayed with microsoft. They left to spread their wings and be more independent, but were immediately snatched out of the sky and eaten alive. This broken husk isnt the real bungie. The employees and ideas which represented its heart and soul left the building years ago. No, this is something else masquerading behind a dead legends face.

Well you completely underestimated them didn't you?
-
They learned nothing
-
Destroyed is exactly the right word. weapons simply take too long to kill for the amount of movement in this game.
-
Also 4v4 teamshot gets old really quickly
-
why don't you just play Destiny 1 then...
-
Blame ever mother trucker that call every good weapon OP on the destiny one forums. Go look at destiny one forums they did this
-
Nah, leave shotties and snipers in the heavy.
-
I feel like they had good intentions, just went too far from destiny 1. The customizable super trees, and weapon trees. The leveling up factions, infinite use shaders, strike specific loot, and the companion app were all so much better in destiny 1. This game needs an overhaul.

Yea this game SUCKS and Bungie HATES fun👎🏻

Are u kidding? Ttk was a reboot and made the game worse. It destroyed lootbased incentives to do endgame content, questified the best and most powerful exotics, practically giving them away, removed elemental primaries as endgame rewards, not to mention the myriad of nerfs suffered in pve for the sake of pvp. There was some good content in there but they also started to shift the game towards endgame just neing a grind for exotics. Roi continued this trend when it could have completely reversed it by bringing bsck elemental primaries. So im not shocked that D2 now only rewards consumable shaders and an emblem for your efforts. If we want this game to be good again, the game needs to go back to how it was in Y1, with an improved story and actual fixes for accessibility issues.

yeah this game sucks

Come back to cs1.6. source sucks
-
Yeah this game sucks -Dabest 2017

-
yea this game is 100% trash. Hopefully the word gets out before people are pissed at christmas time.
-
They've done it before; they'll do it again. This one was especially egregious though. And for a studio that once prided itself on being community oriented (R.I.P 7C), the total refusal to acknowledge any of the critical flaws within the game is disconcerting to say the least.
-
Bungie isn't the 1st company to do this and won't be the last.

UPDATE: 825,000 accounts logged into Crucible yesterday Oct 19th (D1 + D2 Combined) They are losing 200k a day. Only a matter of time before more people are playing D1 crucible than D2 crucible. A few days ago, there were 1,500,000 players in crucible alone!! Pve players will undoubtedly quit once they realize the game is dead. The decline curve is incredibly steep and the freefall continues. I believe the community has spoken as demonstrated by participation numbers, and the insane flow of rage in the forums. The PVP community unanimously wanted: Dedicated Servers Ranked and Unranked Playlists 6 v 6 Playlists, 3 v 3, doubles, solo (same D1 Variety) 60 FPS Not dying through a wall by laggers Bungie offered none of those and instead delivered a complete radicalization of the PVP experience

Fallout 4 is the only other game I can think of that completely disregarded what made the previous games in the series great as much as D2 did.
-
Oi don't forget my fusion rifles!
-
Bump.

Yet another idiot who seems to think that Shotguns are one of the least used when they’re the most used Power Weapons.

I’m if the feeling that the two DLC expansions will be barebones and the only content released for D2. It seems that the programming for D2 is so ingrained that the DLC will likely only offer minor tweaks to the mostly flawed overall experience. My guess is internally they’ve began shifting gears towards D3 knowing that they cannot stray too far from the Age of Triumph version of destiny but crafting the much more open worlds of D2. Can they find the magical middle ground before they lose to the numbers? I think it will be close to being D3 is Bungie’s last viable chance of staying an independent studio. Tl;dr D3 is closer to the release of D2 than D2 was to the release of D1.
