The new eververse ships, the new ghost shells, the new sparrows, IB armor, the fact that we'll be able to BUY some of the pieces from Saladin, and the Dawning (plus DAWNING THEMED WEAPONS!), it's just so GREAT! I just want clarification on a few things: * The clan staves, will they be unlocked for everybody, or will they only be unlocked by the clan leaders? If I was part of a level 6 clan during Season 1 and I left to make a new clan before Season 2 begins, will I get to keep the Season 1 stave? Alternatively, if I stayed with my current clan all the way through season 2, then left to form my own during Season 3, will I get to keep the Season 2 stave? I really hope the answer is yes, because my current clan isn't all that great, and I REALLY don't want to be tethered to them permanently because I'll miss out on exclusive items if I leave. * Since Trials gear has unlockable ornaments now (or, it will do when Season 2 begins), does that mean that it'll function similarly to the Y3 Trials gear from D1? You know, where there's no flawless exclusive armor, but you need to go flawless to earn ornaments for gear you currently own. Does it work like that, or is there a flawless exclusive set in addition to the ornaments system? * Is SRL coming back for the Dawning? If so, I'd like to know as soon as possible, because it was easily my favorite PvP activity in D1, and the fact that it was limited time only made me sad. I'd love if it were kept in matchmaking permanently this time around, and maybe have it reward Dawning-themed stuff every winter? Or have it a monthly thing like Iron Banner? I just hate waiting a year for it to come back every time, and when it's Private Matches only I've got nobody to race with (nobody I know likes it as much as I do). * Will players that don't receive Season 1's Exotic Emotes, Ships, and Sparrows be rendered permanently unable to obtain them? As someone who has all of them (I have a problem, you guys), I really don't think that's a good idea. I like having them, but the knowledge that other players won't be able to get them makes me feel bad. They won't be able to share a snack with me, or flip a table, or ride a Sparrow with literal flames shooting out of the back. I think that just because they came in late, that doesn't make them any less deserving of these awesome things. At least put them in a Legacy Engram or something, okay? * Will we be getting Collections for Ships and Sparrows anytime soon? Also Shaders (we could buy new copies of Shaders we already have, like we can with Exotics), and Ghost Shells (same thing). * What about increased Vault Space (and more ways of sorting it)?
