I am aware that Bungie does not openly support game content sharing, however I have a situation that leaves me scratching my head. My wife pre-ordered Destiny 2 back in June 2017 as a gift for me. She bought the $90 edition which includes the Coldheart exotic bonus as well as a ghost and emote. She purchased everything through the Xbox store. At the time of purchase, no where did it outline the pre-order content would be locked to her gamertag. She only has a gamertag in order to have personalized settings on our Xbox. So here is my predicament, I am the only one in our family that plays Destiny 2, but I can't get access to pre-order content locked to a gamertag in which will not use it. If the purchase was completed at any other retailer, we would have received a code to access it through any specific gamertag. In speaking with MS about the issue, they state the issue lies with Bungie not being able to support game content sharing. Does that imply the necessity to purchase multiply pre-order copies of Destiny 2 in order to receive a pre-order bonus? Is there no way to transfer the usage rights from one player to the next? From what I have seen so far, Bungie has no direct line of customer support via any outlet other than this forum. This is where I leave my frustration.
