[spoiler]*A Gild Wringo has appeared*[/spoiler] Destiny 2 sucks and we all know it. I’m done sucking Bungievi$ion’s teet and am here to prove without a doubt that Destiny 2 ruined Destiny. Everybody said “oh Destiny 2’s story is great” “oh destiny 2’s story is so much better than Destiny’s” well you’re wrong. Everyone says that Destiny had no memorable characters, but you couldn’t walk two steps without someone talking about the Exo Stranger or the Speaker. If they are so forgettable, than why did everyone know them?! Plus their names are easily recognizable. Would you remember the Speaker if he was actually called “Jenkins Bray”? Of course not! But here we are in Destiny 2 with Cayde 6 instead of “Hunter Vanguard” or Devrim Kay instead of “The Sniper”. Nobody remembers Dominus Ghaul because what kind of title is that when he could have been “The Coup Leader”. Now that is a title! On top of that everyone is saying how the Lore is brought into the game through adventures and whatnot but people fail to see that the lore was in Destiny 1! The Shrines of Oryx must be destroyed.[/quote] Guess who said that? Osiris! But now in Adventures all we do is hear that Failsafe talked to Osiris. That is just DLC bait. If you want to hear Osiris’ amazingly emptive voice, just reinstall Destiny 1 like you should have 2 weeks ago! Then there is the plot. Everyone said that Destiny 1’s plot was too contrived and confusing so let me explain it to all of you simpleton sheep. You wake up, have to escape the fallen, find the Last City, wake a warmind, go to the Moon, wake the Hive, destroy the Sword of Crota, destroy the Shrine to Oryx, save the shard, go to Venus, find the Vex, go to the reef, get a gatelord’s eye, go to the reef again where they send you to mars, find the Cabal, bring the eye to a spire, use the eye to get into the Black Garden, and destroy the black heart where you are praised a hero. Superfluous? Please I explained it in a sentence! In Destiny 2 everything is caused by an antagonist, who ruins any mystery about the Cabal because he shows their intent! Then it ends with the Traveler awakening! Which screws everything up because now they have to continue with a coherent linear plot through the rest of Destiny. Gone now are the mix and match DLC that we all loved where one had nothing to do with the other. Now you have to understand what happened before. What is this? A TV show?! Finally there is the dialogue. Everyone says how bad Destiny 1’s dialogue was, but they don’t know what they are talking about. Sure some lines like “I could tell you the legends...” or “I don’t have time to explain...” might not be the best but what about classics like [quote] The Dust Palace is lost to us again, back in Cabal hands. Word is they've let Psion Flayers out of their cages to dig around in the Central AI's Cortex, which means they really want what's buried in there. If Rasputin was protecting it, it's valuable. We've got to flush those Flayers out.[/quote] or [quote]The Vex are taking control of the surface to protect the Black Garden. It could soon be worse than the Black Garden[/quote]. Now it is all nonsense like [quote]Devotion inspires bravery. Bravery inspires sacrifice. Sacrifice leads to death... so feel free to kill yourself[/quote] and Warlock Vanguard bitching on Io. Boring! People didn’t know how good they had it. Now I have proven why Destint 1’s story is much better than Destiny 2’s. So reinstall Destiny 1 and protest for an overhaul of more than 50% of the game!
