Because with three characters and three factions I pledged one character to each faction. If it makes you feel any better, Arach still took 50k glimmer from me even though the gun was listed at 1k. /shrug

5 RepliesGet used to it. Dead orbit might not lose a single faction rally. Make 3 characters and pledge to all factions are get all the weapons and gear noob. There's not a single good pulse rifle on the game soooo you are crying over nothing.

1 ReplyI supported them to get a high impact scout that also has HCR. And I do VERY well with said gun. I've consistently been able to perform at the same level as MIDA and Nameless users, out-shooting them with skill and patience rather than getting mowed over. Of course I don't out-shoot EVERY player with those guns, so don't take this to mean I'm claiming pro status. But, it was often enough that I feel an even playing field for me has arrived.

16 RepliesNew monarchy outright had the worst look, gear, emblem, weapons, etc. and they always have Fwc and dead orbit are tied for weapons, but dead orbit has better gear, emblems, shaders, and lore. If you judge solely on the victory weapons dead orbit has an alright scout while NM had a shitty sidearm and FWC had a pretty bad pulse so ofc I'd want dead orbit to win.

1 ReplyTruth is there are better legendaries than any of the faction guns. While some are pretty good, none are irreplaceable. I went for new monarchy because I liked the cosmetic look of their armor the best. Knights of the round table in space.

Dead Orbit is on my Warlock, but I wanted my Titan's FWC to win. I couldn't believe how shitty that scout rifle is, went straight into my vault. I read posts about people wanting certain factions to win because of the "nice" shaders and/or armor...in a game like this I have to ask a big Why?? The only thing that would add more fun or diversity to the game is different weapons. Beta D1 player here and I've never sought out shaders or armor based on anything but utility. Who cares if I look "nice" or not, it's not adding anything to the game for me. Let me close by saying again that the DO scout rifle sucks and that whole Faction activity was a huge waste of time.

I supported them all as different characters. Anyone with multiple characters should've been smart enough to do the same. I got great shaders from NM and great weapons from FWC. Dead orbit was definitely the lackluster faction. I attribute it to black shaders and a scout. Most players that didn't look closely at the weapons probably just saw scout and made up thei minds.

Maybe people chose DO because they're the only faction intent on getting us the -blam!- out of the Destiny universe. I guess they're as bored of this lame-ass game as we are!
