Rant about how: Destiny's story.......... Sucks, it could easily be better here's how

Ok before any of you get on me for going the lore, the grimoire..... Shut up for two reasons, 1: Most people will not look at said lore, 2: Most people want a good story that isn't just look at the lore to find out. Is the lore bad? No but it shouldn't be the only way to get info for a story. Hell one of the most amazing parts of the game is the fact
the emissary of the nine is the queen of the awoken
, which is never said in the game and is in the lore. If you didn't read it you wouldn't know. Now destiny can easily be one of the best stories in gaming, easily.... But there is a problem, it seems to me Bungie does not have any writers... Like at all, they don't have any writers. I'm pretty damn sure that they use software engineers to create stories, now you can be a good programmer and a good writer, but those often never happen. Sure they could have some actual writers who are locked in a broom closet somewhere creating the lore pages, which are good but then when the real story is to be created by software engineers. The writers are forced out of the picture. And the software engineers create a story that's so bare bones it is just GAHHHH is it bad. Am I privileged in what I think a good story could be? Yes and no. Witcher has ruined that, but then again the Witcher was made in a smaller studio, with less people, less of a budget, and on balance is one of the best games of all time. Now Destiny 2 could have had a power dynamic which I think they were trying to set up. The people of the city rising up against the guardians for doing nothing in their ivory towers killing shit and looting while doing nothing for the civilians. What have we done for the city? Seriously what have we done? Taken it from Ghaul? Hell we could have been better off fleeing and living on the farm, I doubt Ghaul would use the Almighty which is such a terrible plot point I shouldn't even bring it up. Because if the traveller died then he wouldn't have the light. Yadda yadda doesn't make sense. Why did hawthorne seem apprehensive to us going to titan? Because once the Guardians reunited to fight Ghaul they would stop worrying about the people and more about LEWT! There are so many problems in the story that are easily fixable it's laughable how Bungie continues to believe this is the best they have done. No!!!!
Bungie should never had the almighty and scrapped the entire story about Ghaul.
It was pointless, hell destiny 2 ends where destiny 1 ends, at the tower..... But this doesn't make sense for the narrative they were trying to create. Now I know this is for the loss of gear and what not, but I wrote a story for destiny that will never be seen which I bet would be wayyyyy better than what we got. One that deals with how guardians do nothing for the city, the city has an uprising against the guardians who have to think about what they're doing. Then once you finish the game it's about helping the city, not just killing monsters and getting loot. To be what Plato wanted the Guardians of his city to be. If you don't know the symbolism, read the Republic by plato it explains a lot about destiny. I had this plot about the Nighthawk, who is a hunter who wears the celestial nighthawk and uses hawkmoon, also has a hawk. And he becomes a major character with the guardian who talks back and interacts with the world. The cabal try to invade the city as The nighthawk and the guardian end up destroying one of the cabals main bases on Europa, after the guardian crash lands from a cabal anti-air defense. And at the end of the campaign the Nighthawk is consumed by the darkness and forces him to kill guardians to consume their light. The story then becomes this power dynamic of dark vs. light. Is this bad? I dunno, had hopes for destiny 2's story which bungie hyped up a lot. A LOT!!! There's another problem with destiny 2, in the beginning we lose our light. Ok now this makes no sense, if we lost our light we would die. Simple, it's not hard to understand. Why you may ask? Well with necromancy which is what the Traveller did, you take away the spell which binds the dead with the caster, the dead falls back to death. Since there is nothing keeping them from being alive. Think of the light, as blood. Without blood we die, with blood we live. Sorry for this giant rant, please comment if you agree or disagree. Or think i'm a garbage person.
