Right, on my now 3rd character at level 19 just roaming round the EDZ doing events for a level and decent rewards. Doing the servitor event in the outskirts, solo for 3 minutes, made it heroic solo, took down the majority of its health solo, THEN a guy comes and joins with about 30 seconds remaining (even though he was in the outskirts area the entire time he never came to help until now) we dont kill it, about a third of its health left, the chest drops i open, get a rare item (i disnt even look yet), but then in the bottom left, the tool who joined in the last 30 seconds or so and did very little damage gets an exotic. Right, i get its RNG, BUT it should be balanced RNG if that makes any sense, if i have put in more damage and time and overall just been better in any form of game type within destiny, be it crucible, raid, strikes or events, i should have a better % chance of getting better/rarer gear And i certainly dont believe someone who joins an event for the last 30 seconds should be allowed to get anything more than a rare let alone a -blam!-ing exotic engram, thats literally the biggest -blam!- you!
