I would like to be able to preview the transmat effect. It seems like it wouldn't be difficult to use the same preview screen that emotes use and just show your guardian respawning over and over. Currently I've just been sticking with the ones that come with my ship because I don't want to take a gamble and change it to something that looks lame. I know there aren't a ton of these so I've seen most of them by now but I'm sure more will be added in the future and it would be a nice feature to have since we can preview just about everything else.
