So ive made posts about this before and no one seems to care. It happened to my team twice last week.
All I ask is for bungie to give me guidance how i can help them not only identify this game breaking issue but also what are they doing to mittigate it. It involves players actually attacking a home network to kick their opposing team out of a non rejoinable game.
Some proof is available if you follow some of the people on the LFG forum that offer "Guaranteed Flawless Runs"

Happened to me not at all in a dozen games. Your internet just is shit.

Edited by The Dude: 9/22/2017 7:39:34 PMHonestly, I would get screen shots, videos and any and all proof you have, and plaster their Twitter with it. And you wouldn't be alone...
-
Screw it. I'm going to suggest it since it will NEVER get fixed ANY other way: 7 boots and you get a free trip
-
It's only going to get worse. Just wait

So my friend and I managed to scrape together 2 more people to play. Super excited because last week sucked (I loathe the countdown game but really like and am pretty good at survival) Nope! New map was broke so lets replay last weeks shitty game mode and map. Whatever, lets give it a go. First match against a bunch of all stars. Wipe us all out 1,2,3,4 very quickly. It seems like I was getting one or two shotted from across the map. After the first match the stats come up I'm really confused, because they shoukd have 4 kills. We didn't get any revives so whatever combination they have should add up to 4 kills! Nope, 2 of them already had 7 kills each and I think the others had a 5 and a 3. Okay. Trials was obviously broken so we decided to do nightfall. Nope, that's broken too! No elemental burn. At least not for us. Maybe against us because there were times we were getting one shotted by arc. But not for us! Apparently everything is broken. Bungie took like an extra 6 months to finish up D2 and THIS is what they managed to come up with? Puh-lease.

Just got DOS. 1st trials game of the night

Edited by Sarogat: 9/23/2017 10:25:01 PMWant to know why it seems nobody cares?
Because Bungie doesn't care, they have your money already and punishing cheaters means less DLC money down the road.
Bump ( cuz I wanna see bungo do something)
-
Streamers like it like this. Streamers did not ddos you they made you "rage quit". At least that what they say. It's sad this went on for 3 years in d1, and now repeats. Even worse bungie knows the problem and has done nothing about it. No fixes and no punishment.
-
Bungie straight up doesnt care, if they did they would respond.
-
Just wait until the PC version drops. All the hackers are gonna have a field day with this trash.
-
That's what you get with peer to peer. Activi$ion still has no idea what dedicated server are.
-
It's nice to know we're on the second game and ddosing is still a thing because Bungie or Activision, or both, refuses to put in dedicated servers... That 50/50 BS they talked about prior to release I knew was going to be nothing but smoke... YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY PVE WITHOUT INTERNET. Sigh. Guess I won't be playing trials, again, this game.

This happened to my team last week. Worst part is that we get booted and handed a loss. Not 1 bullet was even fired. Whole team booted.... One after the other. And don't even start with the latency / lag switch crap. Completely unplayable.

yeah, the cheating in crucible is back to epic proportion. The fun factor is gone, when you have to report at leat 1 person per match for 3vs 1 and he just walks off everything and manages to kill 3 players with a -blam!-ing sidearm through a wall
-
Damn man again with this BS? I thought all was going to improve in Trials, but we still ran into teams that went flawless which had players not taking damage; when hit with supers they kept going and all manner of crazy BS happening.
-
Keep bumping this thread to get it higher. Thell be forced to respond, upvote the thread itself too.
-
i lost 2 players last week because of this so, then there was no way for my team to win.
-
It ruined my first flawless attempt but only happens once after that my team took a short break came back and continued for 7 games before going flawless playing a total of 12 games
-
Its not just any home network...its bungies new and improved "bungie servers are now the host for PVP" network. Even when Bungie has access to users connection info coupled with the reports of booting, they still do nothing. Working as intended.
-
Don't play it. Bungie BARELY even acknowledges it happens.
