Actual constructive feedback for Deej and Luke Smith to read.

Hey. Edit: Made a reddit post accordingly. Also: Further in the post I talk about LOOT. I never said what kind of loot. So let me say it here: Legendaries. Hope this makes more sense now. Edit2: WE REACHED COZMO! First off: I do not post much, mostly a lurker like many people here. That said, I try to give you as good of an intepretation of the feedback from the community as I can. I've read a lot on the forums and some things really need to be adressed, because in my honest opinion that could make the game that much better. I will also talk about what I think, since most of it are indeed my feelings with the state of the game. What I will talk about: The Nightfall, the Raid, Public Events, High Value Targets (further shortened to HVT), Lost Sectors and their respective loot in general. Maybe Tokens. What I will not talk about: Matchmaking, PvP balance, guided games, lore and I don't know anymore. (You know what the negative and positive aspects of those topics are yourself. guided games are in beta, I have high hopes for something good when they are out of beta) Also, I am aware that the game and the raid are not out for that long of a time. Making assumptions on "why isn't there more content" is pointless, since bungie does indeed have more, we just don't have right now. Destiny 2 is still an MMO-like game, in which the developer should work on stuff and release stuff on a regular basis to keep the player occupied. What I am about to talk about is just some aspects to make what we currently have even better. The Nightfall: It seems to me many do not like the timer on the nightfall. I can see why, especially with this weeks strike being Exodus Crash. I know what you want the nightfall to be, a harder version of the strike itself with great loot. at least this was it in D1 as far as I remember. In D2, it's not that much. People get easily annoyed with the timer. And compared to D1 nightfall loot to D2s.... it does not feel that rewarding for completing it. I honestly like the timer and the way you guys try to make it interesting. I like looking around for "anomalies", or jumping through some loops or even just shooting the bad guys to increase the time. A good fireteam should be able to handle that no problem. I am kind of excited to see what other tricks you have up your sleeves to challange us players. The loot tho' is something you should work on, since it isn't anymore what it once was. Or at the very least it does not feel like it. The Raid: As of now, many players do not like it. It feels short and exhausting and not rewarding at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I like the new mechanics you tried out with the Bathes, the Gardens and "takeshi's Castle" thing. Those three are actually fun to play and the fireteam and I had a lot of fun finding out how things work. But the boss is kind of a hassle. Sometimes it bugs out for what seems like no good reason at all. It also seems like you guys just threw in a couple of new mechanics you wanted to try out and see what happens. I don't mind it as much as other guardians do, but I kind of wish the raid in general would be a bit longer. Especially because of how it ends and what you can see at the last chest. Maybe there is more in the hardmode? I kind of like the new death mechanic, but it does seem out of place. Is this intended to be in normal mode? If so, I want to know if is this going to stay in hardmode aswell. One more thing: Please, do not give us tokens as "raid loot". You can see the outcry about this all over the forums. People really do not like. I an also not a big fan of it. I can see why the raid is not that long if you consider the tokens. At least give Benedict some better loot which is about my PowerLevel. Quick rant on the side:
For the love of humanity, D2 does NOT have light level. It is called Power Level. I know, I know, it is the same, no matter the name. But Bungie decided to call it that way and I think we should call it that way. The UI says Powerlevel too, why is it so hard for people just to replace light with power? -_- sorry for this.
Public Events: Good. Keep them going. Adjust the loot a little bit so it drops around my powerlevel. The rest seems fine. Some are impossible to either trigger heroic or complete on heroic as a solo player, but honestly, that is cool with me. I don't mind at all. Even if Bungie did decrease the drop-rate of exotic engrams from public events, I don't mind. It makes them that much more special. Maybe throw in some legendary gear for specific public events to grind for? Would be cool, but hey, it's your call. HVT: Now for these guys, I know that was not the case with D1 either, but I read something some other community member said, about giving those guys a %-chance to drop something unique that you could only get from that one specific guy. How cool would that be? Lost Sectors: I kind of don't think lost sectors are rewarding enough to be honest. It is way too easy to clear them and for what you get at the end is not much or big of a deal. I'd love for them to be a kind of mini-raid or mini-strike if you want and give them even better loot! Don't let the "boss" of them be just a run-of-the-mill guy who I can just kill a couple shotgun shots, maybe a rocket or two or just one use of my super. They should be a bit more challenging than that if you ask me. The loot in general: It feels there is not that much loot in the game. To be honest, I haven't played Destiny 1 since the beta or year one at all, I started with TTK. So I can't really compare the two here, I don't even want to compare them. Each of them should the respected on their own. But it really feels like there is not that much of it. Also, the loot we get, it drops more than just 5 powerlevels below my current powerlevel. Shouldn't it drop somewhere around my level? TL;DR: There is none. Read it whole or don't. I am too lazy to shorten it. Overall, I really do enjoy this game. It is beautiful and has so many hidden gems. Here and there, there are some things that could have been fixed beforehand, but let us not get drifted away from the fun aspects of the game. I have hope for the future and even more hope for the PC version. I'm out, baby! Out! Woo!

 • This isn't feedback, but its funny that Deej and Cosmo have been basically MIA since D2 launched. Perhaps its all the negativity surrounding all the changes they made to the game that they had hoped would work out, but were so poorly received in the beta...
