Suggestions for improvements to Clans Admin tools
As we continue to play Destiny 2 and get further along in the life cycle of the game, I had some thoughts on some features that could be potentially added to Clans to help Founders/Admins run things more efficiently/smoothly.
[b][u]1. Give Founders/Admins ability to see who is contributing to the Clan: [/u][/b]
I think this could be a great way for the people who run the clans to see who is contributing each week and see if someone hasn't been playing for a while. Normal members wouldn't have access to this, but I think this could be a great way to filter out members who drop the game and don't play anymore as Destiny 2 continues its life-cycle.
[u][b]2. Give Founders/Admins ability to see which members participate in Guided Games and what their feedback is:[/b][/u]
I think being able to see who in your Clan is playing Guided Games and how they are interacting with the Guardians they are guiding, could be a great feature. That way, Founders/Admins would be able to see if a Clan member is doing a great job or if they are doing something they shouldn't be. Knowing how Clan members are doing in Guided Games and what the feedback for them is, would allow the decision to be made as to whether or not to allow that particular member to continue playing Guided Games if the feedback is negative.
Let me know what you guys think. Feel free to offer changes to my suggestions or give me some suggestions of your own that you'd like to see added.

#1 #1 #1 #1 My clan has 100 members right now and I always see the same people online. That could be because others are on when I am sleeping or they have dropped completely from the game. There is ZERO way to tell. I could have 90 people in my clan that don't play at all anymore. NO IDEA how to manage 100 people without a simple tool to be able to track their contribution. At least a tool to let us know when they last logged in and played. Possibly if they are hitting the 5000/week clan xp. I mean seriously...this is a HUGE problem. This isn't some nice to have feature some day. This is a required feature of the clan system...especially with such a limited number of total members.

Agreed. Also it would be cool if we could have an in game "message of the day" feature. This way I can address my entire clan without spamming everyone with a group chat. And since not everyone uses the site, it would be helpful.

They need to make it so clan messages scroll though in game as well seeing as most people don't use both at the same time. Usually if your on the game your not looking at the app

1 ReplyI would like to see a calendar implemented. It would be great to create events and be able to send out invites that people can RSVP to. Imagine having clan raid nights or a 1 time raid night for beginners. Having a calendar would help us organize events, allowing for more interaction among members who are new or may be left out. Just a thought.

1 ReplyYes! Our Clan is maxed on 100 members right now. I understand that Bungie says that there is a limit on how big a Clan may be, and I agree. But.. During the transition from group to only a Clan we had to figure out which members where still active. It took us a week to sort this out. We eventually kicked 24 inactive members who didn't respond to our message. Allowing 24 new Guardians to join our crusade. But after 2 days we where already at a 100 members again. So, if there is a easy way to show which members are still active, for example 'last time online'. This will save us as admins a whole lot of hustle next month when we want to make room for active new members.

Great suggestions! Could I possibly add some more to this list? I'd like to see which clan members are friends. That way I don't accidentally remove someone's fireteam member from the clan. Also, I'd like Founders to have the option to merge their clan with another clan. This is something I've personally wanted for a while as a founder of a very small clan I'd like to possible merge mine with another, larger clan, at some point in the future for more rewards.

I think the ability to create and set custom roles would be of a lot of help. For example like being able to create a "Fireteam Leader" role so can set people in your clan that often get people together to do things. New people wondering if there's thing going on can easily look at the list and get in touch with the people that would help them do what they want to do. Other clans might have other ways of organizing their clan, and being able to create and manage roles would be really handy.
