This Raid is AWFUL
I don't care about the try hards or the "get gud scrub" mentality. This raid is ridiculously hard, but worse than that, it's glitchy. The point of the raid is to solve the puzzle. This raid is the equivalent of trying to score 100 3-pointers in a row at the county fair, on a bent rim with a lopsided ball, and blindfolded. Thanks bungee.

1 ReplyI liked the infinite death glitch at the gauntlet when somebody dies in the outside ring in the final phase..... that's exciting to not be able to do anything BUT RETURN TO ORBIT to get out of it.....

3 RepliesThe raid is great and surprisingly easy. Your teams weak links are making you hate the raid. I felt it too my first run. Running with people on par with my skill made me love this raid. It's no VoG but it's both fun and challenging. There are some glitches that need to be addressed (beasts disappearing and randomly deviating from their paths, a weird respawn glitch at the gauntlet that causes certain member not to respawn, and a few bits of weirdness at Calus) but all in all it's a lot of fun!

All raids are hard at the beginning. First time I did Callus it took a few hrs to get it down right, now it takes 10-15min with 2 or 3 phases! In 6months it will be a joke and a new raid will be available.

Only part I ever had trouble with is Pleasure Gardens, where your points are valid. The other 3 parts are relatively well made, while they could have incorporated more boss fights into it, it's more about Calus testing us in three different ways instead of just killing his minions.

It's not hard. Our first raid took 10 hours on release and we were a few hours behind the first teams. There's probably 100 guides that tell you exactly what to do. Yes you need a lot of teamwork but once you find your groove and everyone does their job it's super easy. Now it takes us about an hour.

I played it for the first time last night. Finished it too. I enjoyed it really. Thought it was interesting and pretty good overall. As long as your team plans and communicates, it's not all that difficult. Did run into a few glitches. But those only caused a couple wipes

It's really not hard though. You just have to actually think about the mechanics rather than just blindly shooting enemies. Don't get me wrong I would prefer more shooting enemies but it's still not hard. Learn the mechanics, practice them, and being the right gear. That's all it takes.

I went in blind and we doped out the Baths, and the Dogs, and it took a while but the mechanics revealed themselves. The sad part is that having solved the puzzles, I don't actually want to do the grunt work. I know [i]how[/i] to beat the Pleasure Gardens stage, but actually doing it is the grunt work. I really don't ever want to do the Baths section again, because having done it once, the problem is solved. I just dropped out of a planned raid because I read over the Gauntlet procedure, thought, "Aha, that's how it's done," and don't actually want to do it. I can leave the hard part to the rest of the clan and just collect my percentage off the top. :D

It's not hard finding people to do it ..... essentially you have the elitist that won't group with anyone lower than them so as the masses gain in level you group pool gets smaller and those left behind have a terrible pool to play with. Glitches are insane considering the requirement of perfection on the part of the player. The loot system is far worse than 1. You should get SOMETHING for you time.

Ive beaten the raid twice it's not Hard. However, the raid is trash, it's boring, the loot is basically nonexistent I get better loot from public events, it's easy as F....U.....C......K...., it's essentially not replayable.

Now that ive played it a bit the only things i dont like is the glitches in pleasure gardens and the glitches at calus in the teleport area especially the barriers and scions hitting you before they have even appeared on screen. For a raid that has very little time to recover from small mistakes these glitches need to be fixed big time.

Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean it's trash. I had a hard time with it my first run but now, it's a breeze.

At 262 power with poor choice of weapons the Raid was quite frustrating. It felt like I was throwing snow at most enemies. It was tough enough to stay alive on some sections. This caused difficulty with keeping on top of the mechanics. I found myself not enjoying it that much, maybe even disliking it. However now at 295 it's like light and day. I enjoy every encounter now. It's not as good as King's Fall or WoTM but it's not far off.

3 RepliesReally enjoyed the mechanics and team work involved. Pretty sure you can 2 man some parts. 4 man some others. But for most individuals like myself, it takes 6 ppl to be focused and completing their assigned task

The raid isn't a carry raid anymore. It's a all 6 members must know the mechanics and preform them. If you can't you can't. This raid is amazing once you know what to do, no one should really be dying. It's incredibly easy.
