Permanent Death Glitch after Killing Calus, no Milestone completion or Trophy
My fireteam beat Calus hours ago, and after we beat him, our entire team encountered a Permanent Death Glitch. We could not respawn without dying within seconds, and changing fireteam leaders did not fix the issue. We could not access the treasure room, we could not open the chest, and we could not progress without quitting Destiny 2 and restarting it.
While we got the raid drops in the Postmaster, we did not get the trophy. We also did not get the milestone completion.
Is there any fix for this? We're pretty frustrated, as we've been trying to beat him again despite the glitch.

I had the same problem and my party leader recorded it on his Xbox and it really stinks because we beat it a couple hours before reset and were not able to get the raid milestone.

Had the same issue went to orbit. Loaded back in with the CP to go through the boss fight again. Beat him. No one died this time. Got to the chest and no loot. Hours of work for an empty chest. Postmaster had a cloak and emblem. Didn't receive a single weapon and I'm one of the clan admins that can't collect raid or trials engrams. Destiny 1, Day 1 alpha player thinking of quitting. Too broke to bother with. I don't game to waste time and be frustrated.

1 ReplyThank the gods my team wasn't the only one. The boss died right when everyone died and we stayed dead. I even left and came back but right when I spawned in, I instantly died. I counted even get to anyone to attempt a revive. Just insta-death. They really need to fix this. It didn't even count toward my clan weekly engram.

1 ReplySame thing just happened to my group as well I have screenshots and a video of it. This is so dumb we killed the boss and should have gotten our trophy or milestone. However we did get our loot from post master. Is there any way we can get our milestones before reset?
