I’ve done the raid so many times now and literally the same thing has happenend every time...I get in a team and play through most of the parts in the raid, then the team disintegrates. This raid is stupid difficult. 6 people Have to do dedicated 4-5 hours of their time and do everything perfectly...and that almost never happens. Someone always mouths off and someone else leaves the group...almost every time. There needs to be a MATCHMAKING OPTION FROM WITHIN THE RAID. When people leave it’s an intolerable mount of waiting. This is severely lacking in DESTINY 2. Frustrated and exhausted...I think I played my last raid today.

Horrible blind run. The previous four were a joy to play blindly and figure them out. Leviathan becomes tolerable once you get it down and start getting a couple of completions under your belt.
-
Really would have liked more boss fights. And actual loot drops.
-
I really don't like the idea that if 1 member of the team is even slightly weak the raid is impossible. Had Calus down to next to no health and this one guy died for like the 3rd time we used all revives at this point and that was it. Wipe. That's just dumb. I don't mind we can't get him up but the remaining 5 should be at least able to try to finish him.

I'd have enjoyed it a lot more if I got more than tokens from it, but then again I didn't get past the gauntlet/callus

Edited by DreadTribe: 9/19/2017 11:06:26 AMRoyal Baths are decently challenging and entertaining, quite balanced. Gauntlet is a bit ridiculous with its strict requirement for near perfection, but fun when done right. The relic stealing sections can be annoying with incompetent defenders but is overall a nice way to prepare yourself for the next trial. Pleasure Gardens, however, drag the entire raid down, its got everything done wrong, stealth but it's terrible unlike Gorgons in VoG, RNG in both the flower locations and if a hound will randomly see you or not, a horrible empowerment grabbing gimmick, a time trial (a time trial in a STEALTH SECTION!!!) and of course, a team wipe. Each of these things isn't bad alone, it's that they're all crammed into one section, I could go on for hours about how terrible this trial is, most importantly the hounds shouldn't become restless because it necessitates speed in a section where you need to go slow, the random AI of the dogs who will sometimes not see you when you're right in front of them and sometimes see you when you're half the map away, the obnoxious need to get at least x48 empowerment to even have a chance of killing the dogs, and the fact that killing the dogs only makes the section harder. I hate this raid almost exclusively for Pleasure Gardens, it needs to be fixed. The boss is also kinda stupid, if one slight misstep happens, your run is over, all of the people who remain in the dark dimension have to survive the entire time so they can call out the symbols and gain empowerment. The people who return to the main area aren't any better off with the massive wave of enemies, many of which are shielded, assaulting the team with little to no cover, and when you finally do get to damage the boss, only a select few weapons are even viable in doing so. Minor note is that the impact on the story is the worst so far as well. We can kill two demon gods, a robot who can control time, and a machine zombie...but a fat king somehow is completely elusive? And if his robotic doubles are so powerful, why not use them to conquer the universe instead of sending in hordes of Psions and Legionaries? Doesn't make any sense to me but whatever. Weapons and armor are pretty subpar too, I mean they're not hideous, and they're way better looking than the horrible and bland weapons and armor obtained everywhere else, but it's not as good as any of the first game's raid gear, and their unique perks are pretty boring too. Another note is how there's only 1 real boss...you see I liked fighting multiple bosses more, that was way more fun, you learn their unique mechanics and all that, no stupid stealth sections or anything like that, just a fireteam and a boss (and the minions he brings with him) with nothing standing between you and victory but killing that bad boy. Those were the days. Worse yet is that this raid has forever soured the taste of raiding for my friends, who are new to Destiny, they don't even want to do another raid ever again! That's pretty bad considering even the most gimmicky raid in D1, King's Fall, never made people hate raids, as far as I'm aware. All in all worst raid I've ever played and I've played 'em all, not that I expected to love it more than WotM, but I was hoping it wouldn't be completely awful, which it is. Hoping the following raids won't make me want to kill myself.

Edited by Avicarion: 9/18/2017 5:43:16 PMI found the raid extremely fun, personally. Throughout the entire raid, we never looked anything up or watched a walk through, so we got to learn it as we went. The only thing that bothered our group was the Pleasure Gardens because we didn't realize that after popping two flowers that two more would spawn. After we figured that out, the dogs were considered the favorite part of the raid by the whole team because we could finish it in one damage phase. All in all, I enjoyed it. However the only raids I did in D1 (since I was three years late in to the party) was Vault of Glass and Crota, so that could also be why. Who knows. I enjoyed it and my raid team enjoyed it despite some frustrations (mostly caused by bugs) here and there. Between my entire raid group, we've all helped countless people with parts they're stuck on. Everything is easy if your team is competent.

Ill tell u when i actually get 6 people to stick around long enough to finish it
-
Yawn fest. Stealth in an action shooter is BORING! I came to shoot bad guys but instead I'm pollinating flowers. I can't believe I'm already bored of this game. Maybe I'll come back and finish the raid but until they add the fun back in, I'll just stick with public events, the only current fun content in the game.
-
I just found it okay. It has fun parts. Should have seen or expected the Token system would be up for this aswell. Not as many bosses as I would have liked to fight.
-
I like the raid but the penalty for a single mess up most of the time leads to a wipe, and the rewards? Absolutely pitiful, I'm not doing that raid again till it's fixed.
-
It's okay, fun to start with but way too many puzzles and not enough boss dps style fights.
-
Pretty boring and hands down the easiest of them all. We did the final boss with a first time raider, mostly low lights and a person missing mic.

Edited by BSHlZZLE: 9/19/2017 9:49:23 AMThe rewards are so garbage. A key and some coins.... then I get to go hunt down the hidden chests only to get a normal legendary engram, 10 power under my level.....really. HOurs spent for that? And then you spend your coins to buy raid gear that has no unique perks, isn't better than your average legendaries, and are also 10 power below your level. What happened to raid rewards like vex mythoclast, vision of confluence, or fatebringer.... what's the reward for the raid
-
Friends may have pushed my bias, but I have always had a great time in any of the raids

Edited by Jordan Newton: 9/19/2017 8:21:41 AMI liked it despite not getting the achievement, the milestone not completing and no clan reward for it. I did however get the emblem, access to the vendor and the next part of the quest. Hopefully things will pop when I do it this week after reset.
-
I found it enjoyable, but then again I'm a sadist that finds challenges like beating the Mysterious Figure with Terra on Critical enjoyable, so...
-
Aesthetics of the raid are amazing. Gameplay was good in parts but has much to be desired in the end. So I'm in the mixed camp.
-
Im 277 light I wouldn't be allowed in a LFG team lol
-
I need to find a raid team but they want people who know the raid I mean how are you supposed to know the raid when 90% of us are still trying to figure it out. I wish I could do it but those problems always stop me from doing it. I have never done a raid in my life even on d1 I didn't do them because everyone i was with expected me to know what to do even when I typed in I've never done one before.
-
The raid itself was great, good mechanics, team oriented and entertaining.... The drops however were complete trash. I've run it through twice more and all I have to show for it is a rocket launcher. The tokens you get for clearing areas are bullshit. When you redeem them at the tower vendor you get lower level gear that's of no help what so ever.
-
Its enjoyable with the right people but can get annoying if you're with the wrong people and things start to take a lot longer than they should. But i managed to do it with a full team of randoms from the forums and with most of us (me included) not really knowing much about what to do with 1 guy who did know being our guide. And it worked well because he was patient and we picked it up fairly quickly. Had fun doing it and managed to come out of it with 5 pieces of gear in total (assault rifle, sub machine gun, rocket launcher, helmet & cloak).
-
so far horrible, even at level 299 I still haven't beat the first part
-
The mechanics and puzzles were quite enjoyable. However some of the bugs causing countless wipes was a bit frustrating.
-
Loved it. Beat it 3 times. Sigil grab, Bathhouse, gauntlet, calus my favorite parts. Cant wait for reset!!
-
Haven't done the raid yet, voted enjoyable to get it closer to a symmetrical penis poll. There you go.
