Happening Now: Raiders of the Broken Planet Open Beta

Some time back, ABeardedViking introduced some of Bungie.net to an upcoming game called Raiders of the Broken Planet. For a month or two on select weekends, I've been playing the closed beta, and chatting with the devs and other testers on discord and the game's forums inbetween. Next weekend, on the 15th and 16th, the game will launch an open beta. Two levels will be available then: the tutorial and the prologue mission, which will both be free on the game's release. On the 22nd, the game will release with the option to buy the first campaign of the game for $10. I'll give an explanation of the game here:
Raiders of the Broken Planet is at it's core, a 4 person cooperative third person shooter with four systems to take note about: -a hero system in which each player will control one member of the Raiders in a mission, who each have two perks, one weapon, and a special ability. Their base stats also vary based on their in-game faction. -a sort of stealth system where players can go undetected by enemies if they move along cover and don't attack. -a melee system used to obtain ammo and a resource called aleph off of enemies. Works in a sort of rock-paper-scissors manner. Ask me about this. -an antagonist system where one player can join a match as a doppelgänger of a raider with the intent of sabotaging the four other players and their mission.
I'll also provide a quick blurb of the story here:
Long ago, an alien race found a resource called Aleph on their planet. They made tech we could only dream of with it, but also abused it to the point where they blew up their planet. They now live in dark age on the fragments. Some time later, mankind colonized the solar system and some of them found a one-way ticket to this broken planet. They quickly started shooting the locals and harvesting the aleph for themselves. Then they ended up splitting into factions and fighting between themselves over the aleph, the alien relics, and some of the surviving aliens. They may have also let out a mystical space demon by accident. Now, one of the aliens, a male named Harec, has started to recruit rejects from the different human factions to his group, the Raiders. Their goal is simple: get the human factions off the planet. Problem is, they're also gonna have to stop the space demon.
I can't say that I expect too many of you to join me next weekend for this open beta (it's on Xbox and PC, I think). That being said, I would be happy to explain the game further in any way asked. I'll also be looking forward to fighting with or against those of you who do give this open beta a shot.
