So, like many other PS4/Pro owners, I got kicked out of the game about 5x a day when Destiny 2 first came out. No fix did I find ANYWHERE on the internet. While navigating my XMedia Bar (PS4/Pro Dash) I noticed that when using the new "Interactive Destiny 2 Theme" that sometimes my Dash would freeze for a few seconds when jumping between the cubes. I also noticed that when returning from a Destiny 2 crash that didn't brick my system, the Interactive Theme was the last thing to function. Lightbulb. I went into my settings, took away the Destiny 2 Interactive Theme, and reset it to default. I crashed playing Destiny 2 about once an hour for 3 days straight. After removing the officially licensed Destiny 2 Interactive Theme, I have not crashed a single time. [i]TL;DR[/i] If you are getting the CE-34878 Error on PS4/Pro, disable and remove your Destiny 2 Interactive Theme (if you're using it) and I just about guarantee you it will never crash again. I'll set up a poll to see what the correlation is if any.
