With the raid fast approaching, I took it upon myself to learn more about this "World-Eater". His name is Emperor Calus, and there is an adventure on Nessus (called "Invitation From the Emperor") that sheds some light on this whole thing. The mission basically introduces us Guardians to Calus. Calus was exiled by the Cabal when the Consul and Ghaul came into power, and the triangular ships at the end of the campaign point to being Calus's. On top of all of this, Emperor Calus is listed on Destiny 2's IMDb page. He is voiced by Darin De Paul. Some Overwatch fans may recognize him as the voice of Reinhardt.
