Dawnblade the worst warlock subclass?

Haven’t played enough to develop an opinion

So the dawnblade imo is the worst of the three warlock subclasses. The aiming feels borked while in the super and trying to actually hit enemies. Also it seems like Bungie is still trying to push their odd aerial combat fetish on us warlock’s solar subclass. Why would someone ever jump into the air when faced with a field of enemies and then HOVER COMPLETELY EXPOSED shooting at said enemies? Idk man, dawnblade just feels.......weird. Now you’ve got stormcaller and voidwalker which are both phenomenal. Stormcaller grants you a companion when placing a rift that shoots enemies alongside you for a period of time (seriously coolest thing in the game so far). Voidwalkers are damn near unkillable vampires with their devour perks. Yeah, both beat the socks off dawnblade, at least to me. What do you think?

  • I have been a solar main for 3 1/2 years now, until i got stormcaller on d2, my flame melee and my fusion grenades were perfect on d1, and self-res of course. However, I have noticed a lack of power in my fusion grenade in PVE in d2, crucible is ok with it but i don't like the power as much. Storm caller was meh for me in taken king cause the power of my sunsinger was always...just right. Like fitting a pair of gloves on you really enjoy. In D2, the Dawnblade is cool, I feel like Sephiroth from FF7 killing things, unfortunately, the passives are split choices from what the sunsinger choices were. This creates balance to be sure, but I do not appreciate a lackluster flame. I have fully enjoyed stormcaller in D2 and have wiped tons of enemies with one grenade. Plus the little arc soul is awesome for extra dps. Voidwalker has not been enjoyable, timing for health draining has not been helpful for me, and honestly, besides a well placed vortex grenade, the grenades feel ineffective. voidwalker just doesnt feel good to me, I use to enjoy it, but when i first touched the sunlight on my warlock in D1 I never looked back to voidwalker. That's my experience anyway, of course othe rplayers will have different experiences but I digress.
