His review was mostly positive. But, I like to think for myself. Someone's opinion isn't going to change my mind about what games I play.

3 RepliesAngry Joes review of Destiny was for the most part on point when pointing out its (many) flaws. But, Joe was never a true player of this game. Don't think he played past Vanilla. He hasn't been around for the long haul like a lot of us have. He hasn't experienced all the great things this game has to offer.

2 RepliesD2 is going to be the same way with the grind fest. 2 primaries to shoot bosses, yeah, that sound like loads of fun counting how many times I'll have to reload before a boss dies. I won't be surprised if they pull another Ttk 320 LL nonsense when D2 is released and wait for months until enough gamers complain about the BS. Then hand out a hand me out update like they always do making things easy after having to deal with the nonsense for months. BungieVision is too predictable...

You might not forget about how atrocious the Destiny 1 launch was, but you could have the decency to come to an understanding of why such events happened and move on. There is a saying about grudges and revenge being like a poison.

While his first review on Destiny was agreeable for the most part, I can't really say his criticisms have much weight after year one. He never played any of the post-launch content, which fundamentally changed the game, and it shows.

We already know 80 missions/55+ from just base level only compared to: D1 with all dlcs is around 40 missions. So that's the content joe was seeking and then some Clan limitations are yet to be seen.

1 ReplyWe all know that Destiny had a very troubled development cycle. The game was basically torn apart and put back together at the last minute. I think Bungie just did the best the could with what they had and the time that was left. I'm hoping D2 is a complete game. It's probably how they wanted Destiny to be but didn't have the time to achieve it having to revamp the entire game. D2 is going to be a fresh start. Hopefully they've had the time to make the game they invisioned this time.
