I don't understand how so many people buy into partisan politics.
Republicans - been crying over Obamacare and replacing it for years. Have had the majority for several months, haven't repealed or replaced Obamacare or done anything of real import.
Democrats - cried over Bush, the war, illegal warrantless wiretapping......for years. Last 1/2 of Bush's last term they had control, winning that majority by those stances. What did they do with that majority? Approved every war bill that came their way, approved everything Bush wanted, and then voted to rewrite FISA make the wiretapping legal, not only legal but retroactively legal.
Then the trend is always they cry the other party obstructed them from passing anything despite that other party being the minority.
I bet they crack open a cold one and have a good laugh over the general populace wasting their time bickering over petty shit instead of working together.

Ever been to the zoo??? Seen the ape exhibit??? That's politics for you.

People needs to learn that there aren't only two parties. Once they start voting to the 3rd party Im sure politicians will change their attitude

You don't reach true enlightenment until you realize that Democrats and Republicans are the just the same shit with a different name to it.
-
Daily news: All politics are a scam. Don't matter where you are.

No matter who the winner was, we were destined for a four-year reminder that American politics was a joke as of last election.

Daily reminder that the Democrats ruined this country.

No matter who wins, we all lose...
=p
Justice Democrats.

That's why establishment politics is dying. Progressive Democrats like Bernie Sanders and libertarian Republicans like Rand Paul mark the future of American politics.

But people still feed the system. Stop voting, stop pushing the notion that the governemnt is us.

And this is the primary reason I don't typically talk politics. It's a world of hypocrisy.

Er... There are multiple political threads on the daily. A for effort but we really don't need another reminder. Kthxbai

Yeah, because every other country is a perfect model of how a government should really be run.

Daily reminder that politics in general sucks

Amen.

Yes. Yet people still vote, while ceaselessly repeating their mantra. "We are the government." Bullshit.
-
Can't rise up and overthrow our shitty government if we're too busy fighting each other over simple civil rights
-
They don't give 2 flying fish sticks. As long as they can cry for their "side", the people seem to be happy & keep voting for them. Fire the lot of them, strip them of all their wealth, investments & healthcare. Then stick the lot of them in the shittiest old folks home you can find.
-
That's the establishment for you.

Is there any part of politics that isn't a scam
