Because they *can potentially* one hit kill
-
Edited by 2fresh2bkilled: 9/4/2017 2:56:28 PMPeople were abusing things about them. Certain rolls allowed for more than intended range and they were being overused, up to the point where you never saw a primary. They changed this in D2 by making Power Ammo drop for one player in crucible.
-
Because the shotgun, like many special weapons, were being abused and overused.
-
Because this is a whole new game
-
Where's your signature???
-
Because the PvP players don't like them. They don't like anything that actually can kill them so I'm surprised Bungie brought back weapons in general. I figured they'd only give out pool noodles in D2, all the same color and length, don't want anyone getting upset that someone else has something different. The weapon system they showed us is nothing more than them pandering and catering to the PvP crowd. Not one damn PvE request ever came out saying,"I need two primaries Bungie!"
-
After Gary took our light, we became very weak?
-
Because Bungie makes stupid ass decisions for PvE based off PvP crybabies. Oh, and they think Destiny will be an eSport. Another name for lazy people who don't have the willpower to play their own game.
-
Because bungie is horrendous when it comes to balancing so they changed the weapon slot
-
The only comments that matter are from those who enjoy both PVP and PVE. I like the idea of snipers and shotguns being power weapons. But really none of us have played the game yet to see power ammo drop rates and other variables in the version to be released on Sept 6.
-
PvP balance at the cost of PvE.
-
Power weapons* We shall see. If the D2 changes to weapons gets rid of all the mouth breathers I see around here then that's a win for this community honestly.
-
All "heavy" are now one shot kills
-
It's sad really, I was hoping they would get it right this time around. Shotguns, fusion rifles and snipers are heavy weapons for the following reasons, 1. Bungie won't admit they screwed up by combining pve and Pvp. 2. Bungie won't admit that they can't balance pvp. Of course I could be completely wrong and the dev's are just screwing with us.
-
p-p-p-p-PRIMARY learn to use one kid
-
Ohk potential and no shotguns are way better in the D2. Though I don't think this system is any good for pve
-
I find it funny how those people arguing against the D2 weapon system are all coming from a PVP or fanboy perspective...... it's either "git gud", "use a primary" or "this is D2, stop complaining...." It's ridiculous how PVE players get constantly screwed over for the sake of balance etc....
-
I kinda like the system, but Destiny's was better overall. They're overly pandering to the PvP crowd and honestly they get what they deserve, a worse system. They CONSTANTLY abused abilities and special weapons in the Crucible because they're too trash to get kills with a balanced primary. But unfortunately we all suffer from their stupidity
-
They are power weapons not heavy
-
Any OHK weapon should be a power weapon. This way they are fun to play with and not nerfed to the ground because of excessive abuse to gain an advantage.
-
Cause pvp is the cancer of Destiny that has slowly but surely ruined it since day 1. PvE suffers and pvp players still bitch and moan. If bungie would just come out and separate the two then this game would be so much better.
-
Then continue to play D1 :) no ones making you get D2 :)
-
-
Because the added VAT on tampons no longer makes it a profitable deal for Bungie. Little kids can't afford them anymore to plug their wounds 😢
-
Because Bungie is incompetent, and trying to make D2 an wannabe MLG pile of shit. PvP is killing the franchise. Every beta review I read said that the new weapon loadout sucked ass.
-
All One Hit Kill weapons in PVP are now power weapons.
