We walked down the hall passing a guardian known as Shaxx who ran the crucible. As we entered the vanguard hall I saw three figures standing at the large center table. There was an awoken wearing white and red armor, an exo with a horn on his head and wearing a cloak, and a dark skinned woman wearing warlock robes. They looked at us as we entered the hall. "Looks like the reports were true," said the awoken titan, "Welcome new guardian, I am the titan vanguard Zavala, this is Cayde and Ikora, the hunter and warlock." I bowed and made my way to Ikora. "A new warlock I see," she smiled as I approached her, " It's always nice to add another to the ord-" she stopped mid-sentence as she noticed Silas, hands clasped behind his head, "I'm sorry but I know every warlock in the tower yet I don't recognize you. So who are you?" She asked Silas with suspicion. He held up his hands in mock surrender. "I guess you got me," he said "Truth is I've never been to the tower before, or the city for that matter." He said like this whole situation amused him. Everyone looked at him in shock and I just looked at everyone wondering if this was an odd occurrence. "Ho... how many years ago were you resurrected?" asked Zavala still in shock. "Oh, I don't know," he said, "About two hundred years, definitely before the city was built." Again everyone just stared in shock "That's an extraordinary lifespan for a guardian, but especially one who's never had the safety of the city to go back to." Stated Ikora, probably more for my sake. "Yeah," he said with that same uncaring demeanor, "Although I did visit a few times before the city was built, fought at the battle of six fronts, watched you build the walls from afar, fought at Twilight gap too, and I believe that I snuck my way into the raiding party for The Vault of Glass somehow," he said all of this with a bit of a smirk on his face plates. "The important thing is that whenever the city was in a bit of a bind I came along to help, I think there may even be some legends about me." He said still amused by this hole thing. Zavala coughed to get everyone's attention, "While the situation with him is... unusual at best we must not forget that we have a new guardian with us," he said turning towards me as I was still confused about what the heck Twilight Gap was, "Ikora outfit him with some armor and send him along with... our other friend here to the gunsmith," he said that last bit directed at Silas his hands once again clasped behind his head, "Hunter, Vulcan I want you two to stay here for debriefing," I was given a new set of armor known as the Temporis Floe and made my way to the gunsmith with Silas. Once we got there we were greeted by an exo named Banshee-44. He looked at me for a few moments then finally spoke, "New guardian huh, and a warlock by the looks of it. Well now I got just the gun for you." He said reaching for a weapon on his table. He handed me a white weapon with the warlock symbol in purple on it, "That there is the Tlaloc, a scout rifle I made and this is the Susano fusion rifle." He said handing me a black weapon. My ghost put those into what he called my inventory and Silas lead the way to the speaker. We entered a room with a complex looking machine with moving parts all over and we walked up the stairs to meet the speaker. He was wearing white robes and a mask on with his ghost hovering next to his head. He noticed us come up and turned towards us. "Ah, a new guardian I see," he said then looked to Silas, "Oh, it's a surprise to see you here, how have you been my mysterious friend?" He said to him. Silas didn't stop smiling when he said that, in fact it seemed to get even bigger, "I'm surprised you remembered me," he said even more amused, "We've never properly met, yet you always knew I was there didn't you?" "Of course," the speaker said leaving me more confused, "My gift with the light has given me abilities to see and sense things among other things. I sensed your extraordinary light the moment you entered the village that would soon become the city for the first time. And every time you came to help, or stop by, I sensed your light among the others and knew you were there." This little speech made Silas chuckle, "I guess I shouldn't be surprised," he said still smiling. After their conversation the speaker welcomed me to the city and sent us on our way. I was confused though. The way Silas was acting right now didn't fit with how I met him in the cosmodrome. Then he was so focused, cool, and collected and now he seemed not to care. To take amusement in other people, acting like he didn't care about what went on around us. It was almost like he was a different person. I was snapped out of my thoughts when V and Vulcan called out running towards us a sense of urgency in their faces.
