Number #1 (technical) hope that Bungie brings to the table for Destiny 2: FoV settings.
I linked a very helpful video that was made back in 2012 by John "Totalbiscuit" Bane in which he explores the way that frame-of-view affects the individual player and how it can lead to a more enjoyable and 'relaxing' experience.
As it says in the title, my number one hope right now for Destiny 2 is an enhanced options menu for console players that includes settings for the frame-of-view. While not necessarily game-changing, it goes a long way to promote a more comfortable and individualized experience for every player. I know many of the friends I played Titanfall 2 with all preferred differing levels of FOV. Some preferred the more 'standard' FOV of 70 degrees while some like myself preferred when it was around 90 or 100 degrees. I had a much more comfortable experience and was able to enjoy myself much more than if it was locked to 60 degrees. In fact, when I scrolled through the options menu, which is the first thing I do for pretty much any new game I pick up, I noticed that there was an FOV slider and it went all the way up to 120 if I recall correctly. That one slider single-handedly made that game a far more enjoyable and amasing experience for me.
