Destiny 2 Beta items

I downloaded and played Destiny 2 Beta, and in process picked up an exotic weapon (can't remember name). A day after i downloaded and played for a while, i had some technical issues. My ISP (comcast) routinely reassigns IP addresses and the one i was assigned a few days ago happened to be on the PSN banned IP list. I spent HOURS trying to get it fixed. I wasn't able to log into the PSN on my PS4 or on my Computer. Many useless "fixes" were available on various forums, and i tried all to no avail. One of those fixes instructed me to re-initialize my PS4, which, as you know, resets your PS4 and erases all data putting things back to factory settings. After hours on the phone with both PSN (who are useless and can not do anything for you if your IP is on banned list) I finally received an answer from the 3rd tier 2 comcast geek who recommended visiting a comcast location to swap out my router which will assign me a new IP and Mac Address since comcast is in the stone ages and you can't manually change either with their equipment. Doing the swap this morning fixed the problem and i was finally able to log back into PSN, but now i have a factory reset PS4 and i no longer have Destiny 2 Beta on my console and there is no place to download the Beta anymore. My question is, once i am able to either redownload the Beta or get the full game, will i still have the Exotic weapon that i picked up while playing the Beta? Does that information save to my console or to my gamertag?
