Classes getting gutted. Why? (Video in post Credit to DarkSide Royalty Lore)

Who else agrees that we've been gutted? That we've been tossed aside (figuratively). Why have been we been restricted from out customization? I'm not talking about shaders or anything like that. I'm talking the core of the experience, how our classes work. I know it was only the Beta, but that's why things are to be said NOW. It may be a 'month(s)' old version , but that doesn't mean a thing. It's our duty to call out things, and it's not because we're 'entitled'. No it's because we're spending out hard earned money and by extension fund them. They may get 'funding' by their publishers and the like but guess what? If their game doesn't sell, they're out of jobs. So ultimately we should have say, our voice needs to be heard because if we aren't happy about things it needs to be known. Before I get too side tracked I want to get back on track. Our classes, our choice has been removed. D1 we had a grand spectacle of builds we can run. If they were 'viable' or not didn't matter. The fact was that they were there and if we wanted to horse around and play an experimental build or whatever , we could do that. But now, we cant. And it feels like a slap in the face. It takes away the variety and freedom of the playerbase. Even if 9/10th's of the community runs only one specific 'build' it's their right to do so. My largest complaint , even despite the various 'nerfs' and 'balances' that I'd love to argue about and point at, before all that I find that a huge issue resides in our complete and total lack of choice that we are given with our classes. We are given a variety of classes. Titan. Warlock. Hunter. And then we're given subclasses within those classes. And in destiny 1 , we would be able to freely explore in those subclasses into builds we may enjoy or use for whatever reasons. Now it's more of Class->Subclass->Sub-subclass. Does that sound anywhere near as fun or enjoyable? To me it doesn't and it wasn't. I enjoyed the beta, but that was because it gave me something to do. Not a lot, a very minimal bit, but still it kept me reasonably entertained. However that doesn't mean I'm not going to point out issues that I find in the game. Does anyone else share the same opinion? Even if you don't i want to hear peoples thoughts on this.

 • This is exactly what I said after playing the beta. People didn't believe me but the proof is right there. Every change they've made has been to make the game easier for casual scrubs.
