Alright so this is something small, but could also mean a lot. In some MMO games, namely SWTOR for example, there is a toggleable option called flair. What flair does, is similar to what's in the game already on the enemies. For every enemy in Destiny 2 there is a symbol next to their names to differentiate their faction from others, or tell you it's a badass boss you should keep your distance from. So where I am going with this is it would be cool if the player could apply a flair of their own, similar to a prefix or title. How this would work, is the player would have an option in their inventory to toggle a flair on, then they would be able to choose the flair they want whether it be a clan flair or an achievement flair (say, do a flawless raider or if a ranking system in crucible is released you can give flairs to players who rank in certain divisions per season). This wouldn't really affect gameplay, but it would tell other players in the world what you have been through or what allegiance (clan) you may have. Say we have a flair for reaching diamond division in crucible for a season (still assuming a ranking system will eventually exist in Destiny), this would tell players in the wild or in a crucible match on the same or opposite teams you are basically a god among men. You could also say this expands on the emblems, but this is something more noticeable in game. What do you guys think? I personally would be all over a system like this and try to collect all the flairs if possible ;) Here's some concept of what I'm talking about to make it more clear what this is, also don't shoot me for these bad examples as these were made in paint.net in 20 minutes or less and I'm no graphic artist lol.
