Personally I would, and I think they would have enough man power to work on Destiny and work on Halo at the same time. And I would much rather see Bungie and 343i co-develop the game together to keep new and old Halo gamers to stay.

Honestly yes, i would love to have you guys back again and prevent 343 from screwing everything up again. Also bring Martin back he was the best composer.
-
Not current Bungie.
-
It should have ended at 3. They arent coming back.
-
Halo was meant to die at 3.
For you that don't know.
I actually like what 343 is doing with Halo. Ik they have done mistakes, but they are learning from them. I think the should end Master Chief's story with Halo 6 and then make more spin-offs. I'd be cool if they make another ODST game with the team thing from Halo 5.
-
Edited by Lethenza: 7/11/2017 4:04:52 PMNo, and I don't think 343 should keep handling it either (exclusively, at least). I think we need to bring more devs into the fold and make more spinoff Halo games, to see what each dev team can bring to the franchise.
-
Bungie made a great trip of games but overall they've done their part. Halo currently isn't in as bad a state as many would think, we need to let 343 do what they think is best for this new direction Halo is headed in.
-
No. To be honest, after witnessing 343 Industries attempts to expand the Halo Universe, I'd say that this franchise has pretty much run its course. The Masterchief storyline should have ended with Halo 3. I play Halo 4 and 5 and I see that we are still fighting the Covenant and o can't help but wonder "WHY". And the Forerunner storyline is awful. I enjoyed ODST and Reach but these 2 games get a lot of hate from the fanboys because they don't Star The Masterchief. So yeah, this franchise has been pretty much been milked to death. The only stories worth telling in the Halo Universe are stories that the fans don't want to see/hear.
-
No. Halo is a dying franchise, that has run out of interesting stories to tell, and that the game world has passed by in terms of gameplay mechanics. The Halo community is practically in a state of civil war, because they are so caught up in nostalgia that the game can't evolve. ...and many of the problem that Destiny has had to wrestle with are in large part due to the fact that former Halo fans simply can't let the game go.....let it die....and let Destiny be its own game. I swear. Some weeks you literally can't get through a Destiny-related podcast without someone saying, "Well in Halo X, Bungie did Y, so they should do it for Destiny as well....." No, they shouldn't. Because Destiny isn't Halo.
-
Edited by MightyJonE: 7/14/2017 12:16:02 PMNo, I think bungie are done with halo, and most, if not almost all, of the old halo team are long gone, anyway. Bungie were right to move onto new things, and I'm sure they'll have more new game ideas outside of even destiny in the coming years
-
i don't think halo could be a long going series, and should've ended on 3, maybe make a short clip or book of the UNSC finding and bringing back the Chief, and that's it.

They're perfect for each other now. 2 entities that are mere shadows of their former selves. It's darn near poetic.
-
Not sure what the stipulations on the Activision contract are. That's a firm -blam!- No.
-
No, the MM for lolReach and Destiny was garbage and I wouldn't trust them to make a decent Halo MM given the direction they've taken since ODST. 343 have given us an excellent Halo MM with H5 (best since H3 by a mile) and I'd rather they keep making Halo games :)
-
Only if they go back to how they used to be and start the reclaimer trilogy from scratch.
-
No. Halo as it is just needs to stop.
-
Halo should have ended at reach. Now it's just another milked cow for Microsoft, like the Gears franchise.
-
Only if the 343 forge team comes to bungie
-
and I think they would have enough man power to work on Destiny
You went wrong here.
-
If they were to co-develop with 343
-
Well, been a while since I've been on here. Guess these forums never change after all.
-
No, and id like to see Microsoft let 343i do something else.
-
No. Bungie has shown they don't know how to balance multiplayer.
-
Edited by Vortex: 7/12/2017 8:44:49 PMThat would be nice but I think Bungie is forever done with halo. Probably for the best. Imagine playing Halo 19. Does that sound like fun, or does that sound like it's gonna be stale? I think it's best Halo just goes out in a blaze of glory
-
Not todays Bungie......
