To Those We Have Defeated, We Salute You
Before we get hyped up about killing Gary - sorry, Ghaul - take a moment to remember the bad guys we've had to kill to get to the point we are and who've made us legends in Destiny 1.
Out of the myriad of bosses we've faced, who was your favorite to fight (or kill, as it were)? Like churning through them in Strike Playlists? Remember defeating a Raid boss with your favorite fireteam? Or maybe there's a foe from Prison of Elders or the Story Missions that really stuck with you? Weigh in on the poll, and if you feel like it, specify below.
My personally favorite Strike bosses to love hating were the Psion Flayers Vatch, Kolar, and Numoc. I spent so much time farming for their mantles that I almost consider them my nemeses.

Not gonna vote just because it is such a close call between Riksis and Sepiks Perfected/SABER-2. As a kinderguardian I felt so great after slaughtering my first Archon, but the epic music and interesting mechanics of the Sepiks Perfected strike and the pure annoyance that was SABER-2 in its final form with arc burn come really close.

My favorite boss was the Forklift! XD JK mine was Atheon nothing will ever beat that one for me. in my opinion The classics are always the most memorable! I still remember the cheese you had to hope to christ those grenades knocked him off the edge or you'd have to wipe.

I am currently the only vote on Mission Boss, and I am proud of that. Draksis, the Winter Kell, will always be my favorite mission

4 RepliesSkolas and Qodron. Skolas after they removed the burn damage and Qodron prior to the nerf. I loved the challenge that Prison of Elders provided and would often solo the 34's. I'd solo to Skolas and invite people for a carry. Good times.

Atheon, he was my favorite raid boss. The first Tim I finished it was when I was getting the "No Time To Explain" gun. Good times.

I still remember when I finished off crota. I was jumping in the air screaming, until I realized that the gear was year one stuff.

Defeating Oryx at the Threshold. It took my team several attempts, but we finally brought his health down. He climbed back up, called for the Darkness one last time, but we stopped him and sent his corpse floating through space. It was the first Raid I/we completed during its designated DLC. (I didn't complete CE until HoW)

Raid bosses. Each section of the game (aside from Vanilla and HoW) was built leading up to one final powerful enemy. Atheon was the pinnacle of the Vex's power. Crota was the Hive prince sent to snuff out the Light. Oryx was the climax and my favorite: the father of Crota, the convergence of all Hive missions and all the lore we've received, and the Darkness' strongest warrior. Aksis, the remnants of human technology combined with the vengeful scavengers. Two things of our past come back to attack us together after previous blows they've felt to us
