The hive are only getting stronger
I'm gonna cut right to it. The hive kill and tithe some of the power they gain to whatever hive is above them. We killed Oryx, and a ton of other high ranking hive. Problem: there are still hive in our system. They're still gaining power, but are they tithing? If not you have hive growing stronger at an increased rate, but if they do, then every other ascendant hive in the pantheon just got a tithing boost, making each one stronger at a higher rate. Let's take a look at Oryx's sisters, Savathun and Xivu Ararth. Savathun is currently inside a black hole with her brood because it will "make them stronger", that's why I believe Xivu Arath will be out next big hive baddie to kill, and when she dies, the rest of the hive will grow stronger at an even faster rate. Savathun, the hive trickster god, isn't getting stronger because she's in a black hole, she's getting stronger because she's forcing the remaining hive to tithe energy to her. Just imagine a cinematic a spear shaped ship slowly leaving a black hole and then it zooms in on the top of the ship and out from the blackness comes Savathun, the end point of all tithed hive energy.

Still three hive gods active: Savathun and Xivu Arath we know some about since they're Oryx's sisters. Then there's Nokris, who we know exists and was important enough for oryx to make statues of worship to on the dreadnaught but that's it.

1 ReplyOnly oryx had to feed his worm like that, thus his spawn had to feed there worms like that. His sisters have different worms, thus there spawn have different worms, so if the thithing System is still in effect ( the hive may have just said every man for themselves ) it would just filter to the highest ranking hive, which in turn would create a war for who is the highest ranked, which would make the hive weaker.

1 ReplyYe but when crota died went to sisters and oryx when he dead all major hives dead so it just gets spread around making knights wizards slightly stronger but still easy to kill ffs we killed both their gods so if anything without one supreme being to take all the power they are getting weaker as,a whole

5 RepliesThere is flaws in your argument dear. Mainly while yes others take the place and gain power, we also kill those passing in the tithe and not offering any energy for them.
